Sounds like you have a vacuum hose off of the intake. Find where the hose attaches to the brake booster and follow it back to the intake to see where the hose ends and if disconnected. There are 3 hoses that attach. One is the pcv valve and then 2 others.

MotorCity Mechanic retraced from the brake booster back to the engine and found the hose I tucked away, I was able to get my van back on the road in time to make our weekend getaway, thank you very much, sir.

This is the second time I have watched the videos. Two years ago at 100,000 miles watched them to se how to replace the spark plugs and this time had a code for misfire in #4 cylinder. Went very smooth. Lke the warnings and letting know what nut sizes is.

This is an excellent info. have 2011 Routan with 3.6 litter engine. In the manual it says that the Gap for the spark plug gap needs to be 0.031 inch. According to you it needs to be .043 inch. what model of spark plug do i need to buy.

Morning, personally I would stick with the OEM plugs. They are Champion RER8ZWYCB4. The gap I would use if 0.043 as in the video. I hope this helps. Thanks for the question and make sure to subscribe!

A mechanic that is also articulate. Let me guess, you are not from North Carolina. I wish I had the balls to tackle this job, but I don't. Dealer wants $600, just to replace plugs. wow!

Can’t replace the 6 plugs without removing the upper intake. There are a few different things you can bend (if your that type of mechanic) or different order you can take off to get to the mounting bracket bolts but for the most part it’s the same...intake removal and then the plugs.
