THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!! I had the dead throttle happen to me twice and the first time it cost me $140 to get my 2007 F350 towed back home and the next day I checked all of the fuses and all at once everything was fixed. I hate when things fix themself because you know that it will happen again.. 4 days it happened again and I had watched a vidio talking about making sure the 2 sensors were plugged in good and the both were.. so I did just how you showed to unplug the injector sensor an the truck wouldn't idle and no throttle response plugged it back in and unplugged the other sensor and the truck idled fine AND THE THROTTLE WORKED!!! I had a Scanner with me and I had about 10 codes showing up from injector level low to 3 different throttle sensors say they were bad. The thing that made me doubt all of the codes is the truch still ideled like a dream. Thank you again for your insights!!!!

Thank you! I came off the highway and at the red light at Nostrana less light turned green and had to limp it across the intersection at idle and then down the highway a quarter of a mile until I found a neighborhood that I could pull into and park the truck. I came back two days later and it started right up no problem.

I complained in part 1 about leaving us hanging. Thanks for this I'll try it tomorrow or maybe I should wait till it happens again. The irritating thing is nothing is wrong with the engine from what I'm seeing and watching except for dirty sensors and my day is screwed and jobs are not completed and how many people get a tow or call in favors etc, etc, etc. This also opens up us poor saps to spending way more than necessary. With a 6 that has not been bulletproofed I worry about all the problems I have heard about with these engines. My truck is a 2005. I'm wondering if it would be an option to cut the battery and reset the computer because this thing holds us hostage. It should go through a reset or recover but should be able to run it until or unless the basic engine just fails. You ever try that?

I have an 05 with the same issue but mine happens intermittently at random. I use a tuner/monitor to clear the p2138 39 and 40 codes and then restart and usually drive on. Did the EBP sensor ultimately fix it?

Andrew Whaley you may have to take the whole tube off clean it out or replace it and the sensor but yes after replacing the EBS it fixed it also the pigtail harness

@@farmerhomestead thanks. I have taken the tube off and cleaned it once but I didnt replace the sensor. 1 thing at a time troubleshooting. I'll try the EPB sensor next.

Andrew Whaley yea I get that sometimes it gets very frustrating and not trying to spend soo much money on things not knowing if it’s going to fix it or not keep me posted
