I honestly loved this video. I will look into the website and hopefully I can find what I need. I drive a mid engine car with a ton of coolant hoses that are now discontinued. Therefore, I always just buy something from the auto parts store that looks as close to mine as possible and make it work. This however, seems like the way to go now! Thank you!

Same. If you need avideo to know how to join hoses with hose clamps maybe you shouldn't be working on machinery in general.

This is just what i needed to see..... I'm not the only one who loves to fab up my rad hoses like this. My theory is; if you have to use a lot of hardware make sure your work is very neat. Love it! :^)

In the refit industry, general antique cars like black, and traditional car refit cars like blue. Now in recent years they like red inside and black outside. The colors can be customized according to customers.
@aaronmatuszny88564 жыл бұрын
Any color other than black can get smudged with grease & oil and is nigh impossible to clean off of silicone.
@spignetti3 жыл бұрын
@@aaronmatuszny8856 that's exactly it.....esp. the lower radiator hose like in my situation..I'll stick with black on the bottom, maybe go blue on top..

Hi you could take a look at Sil-Poxy or Sil-Key which are silicone bonding agents these might allow you to use less hose clamps at the intermediate joins.. Thank for the link to the website for the tubing... 👍🏻

@canuckguy worried , they are very good however when looking at it , one might get the impression that its a mickey mouse job just because of the spanners

I will have a look and see how that might work , a combination of the coupler and that product you mentioned... It would have to bond aluminium and silicone, so i assume we will need a primer to do so. Good tip , thnaks

@@D3Sshooter Our factory can add the metal wire to the inside of the silicone tube to enhance the negative pressure strength of the silicone hose. At the same time, the wire will not be exposed on the inner and outer surfaces. This is our company's invention patent in 1991.

just be careful that you don't have a high spot in that tube. Should have a bleeding valve on the highest point, could be an air-trap ?

claymore2k1 txs for your honest comments. And now, how would you do it
@richardschofield22013 жыл бұрын
@@D3Sshooter I think claymore2k1 may have been looking for the same thing that I am. And that's how to wrap and bake your own hoses. It may not be a DIY job. For me, the change in angle, shape and diameter is such that standard hose bends won't work. Plus they are too flexible. I'm looking to make intake runners.
