All these relationship issues is simply summed up to one thing: the lack of wisdom (Hosea 4:6). All those secular love issues songs such as Duecus by Chris Brown or riding Solo by Jason Derulo I used to listen to make SO MUCH SENSE now that I discerned those songs from a Godly perspective. Our God doesn't want ANY of his kids to go through that. But according to proverbs 4:7, wisdom is the principle thing. So therefore I'm gonna get wisdom and understanding. So that me and my future wife the Lord prepared for me won't have to individually go through that garbage.

Thank you so much for your simple beautiful explanation of marriage as God meant it to be. I hope it has opened many eyes and hearts about the subject. Marriage has become unimportant in these days because fornication and adultery have become so commonplace and prevalent that even strangers see each other and just start mating like dogs or doing other things not allowed by God,even in a crowded place. This private and personal thing has become so public its a disgrace. Such is the modern mindset of not having any kind of respect. I can imagine the tears running down God’s cheeks as He looks down on us. We have all been destroyed for lack of knowledge. We have to learn God’s 10 commandments and obey them. The Father of the Lie has instilled his lies in us and doomed us to follow him unless we have the faith and trust in God that He instilled in us by his Holy Spirit and holy Word, the Bible.

So if the marriage “covenant” is “broken” due to adultery, and the married couple reconciled, does there need to be “renewal” of vows? Or are they continuing with a broken covenant?
@Hannodb19613 жыл бұрын
No, I dont think so. Jesus didn't say you _have_ to divorce if your partner commits adultery, He said you _could_ divorce. So, you can choose to put it behind you and go forward, in which case the covenant is whole again. But you can't then go back to the adultery incident in future whenever it becomes convenient: You have chosen to put it behind you, it is done. But if the person commit adultery _again,_ then again the door opens for you to walk away. At least, that's my read on the situration.

If a spouse is beating his wife he is also defiling the sanctity of the marriage bed is maritally unfaithful, warranting divorce. Often such a spouse is secretly carrying on relationships with another as an additional expression of marital unfaithfulness, whether the battered partner is aware of the affair or not. Our Majesty wants you to be happy healthy and free from a spouse who has deceived you into believing you were entering a safe, loving union, and who is attempting to exploit your faith in Christ to hold you as a lifelong hostage. Bondage is not our savior's will for your life. He sacrificed his life for you to be free. Don't allow anyone to convince you otherwise.

For sure he doesn't want us to be abuse in any form, but you can be separated but not get married. You see the problems with us ppl we like to institute our own laws and principles on God. However, it doesn't work that way, there is only one way to be divorce according to kingdom law and that is through unfaithfulness of a spouse. Any other way contradicts God's standard!! Here is my question. Why did God tell Hosea in Hosea 1:2 that he would be marrying a HOOKER? Does this not violate 1 Corinthians 6:16-17? Is it possible that Hosea was a "John" and was either too ashamed to admit it, or that he knew that if he admitted that he was one, that owe would not beleive the bible? It seems to me that Hosea was a "John" and God is showing what his forgiveness REALLY means! I would also not be surprised if Hosea had been sexually abused, most likely my his mother when he was younger.

So what if a woman was molested as a young child, does that mean her marriage does not count? Does that give her husband in her adult life permission to commit adultery and leave her for another woman after she was faithful to him for all the years they knew eachother? So in Gods view, since I have been married and divorced but my ex-wife was not a virgin when we married, I have never been married? What I'm saying is there was no covenant of blood between us? We have a child together so I guess that is sort of a blood covenant. But we did get a divorce because of my unfaithfulness. Maybe the lack of the blood/spiritual covenant allowed me to be unfaithful because there was not a Godly bond between us and we were just going through the motions. We didn't view each other as "belonging to each other." Looking back on it, I didn't have a clue on what I was doing. Thank you for the video and God Bless you.
@keierrareenell8774 жыл бұрын
The blood covenant was the intimacy. She did not have to be a virgin when you married but kept by God because He is graceful and forgiving. Also her birthing your child is another blood covenant you two entered. If you committed adultery and you two did not rebuild your marriage on godly principles then she can marry someone else. You may want to repent to God and her and see about reconciliation. But your marriage does still count.

The scripture says EXCEPT it be for FORNICATION (Matthew 19:9). Fornication is prior to the marriage (during the engagement period). Adultery is AFTER two people are already married. So the only wife that you can PUT AWAY is your ESPOUSED wife. Unfaithfulness within the marriage, does not give you license to go and get another husband or wife because Jesus said that he who marries the put away espouse commits adultery also, even after the other part remarried (Luke 16:18). So ADULTERY does not free you from your marriage covenant.

He's not using the correct word. The only exemption for divorce is "fornication" not adultery. Meaning that if he or she commits adultery, it is not a reason for divorce, that's right the church has lots of adulterers. And the only other way to remarry is that he or she is deceased. Do your own research within the holy scriptures for the difference between fornication and adultery. When she was found not a virgin, she was supposed to be stoned to death because she entered marriage in deceit. Resulting in the woman to be stoned because the man had already been circumcised. (Jewish tradition)

@@jacquelinemorris7133 You offer no scriptural or philological insight. Your understanding is feeble-minded compared to the commenter's informed points. You fail to address the very valid problem that Jesus said "porneia", not the word for adultery, in the part of the Gospel the scripture is about. This is a very intricate argument and you have no idea what you're talking about. It is possible that the commenter is wrong and you/the video are correct, yes. But for much for elaborate reasons.

Fornication is by definition is when two people who not married to each other or anyone else have sex. Adultery is when one person who is married have sex with a person who is not married at all or to the specific person. You can’t divorce someone because of fornication because you both were not married in the first place. Adultery is when people cheat it makes more sense for adultery is the reason other than the Bible literally says adultery is the only reason.

@@cosmickirby4793 You are extremely ignorant to the finesse of the debate. Our modern English definition of "fornication" is NOT at all what the original Greek word "porneia" meant. That's why the NIV translates it as "sexual immorality" instead of "fornication". Even in the KJV English, in 1611, "fornication" did not have the sense it has today. It was only after the Marriage Act of 1753 in England where couples did not live together until a formal wedding ceremony. Please try to correct the woebegone problem of your extensive ignorance.

Paul Costa Really? Do you have a copy of the original Hebrew Bible that the Jews had? Because if you do that would be nice to share sense some people said it’s lost to history. So if you can provide a link to than I would believe you. Because I wouldn’t believe any website or person claiming to know what the Hebrew Bible says if no one really has an original copy

Deadly results. Come on no not fear tatics. The good lord knows that we make mistakes because we screw up. Not everyone experienced things the way you did. That's what we have is forgiveness through Jesus Christ. He is the God of second or sometimes third chances. What you are missing is that sometimes people marry out of Gods will. However many of us would not be here if these unplanned pregnancies did not occur.. Don't be foolish God is bigger than our problems and issues. He doesn't lock us in to things like you think he forgives us and sets us free. Stop being foolish on these issues.

It would be like you are saying a man or a woman that has commited adultery is bound to go to hell because they broke a covenant of marriage. No that's wrong. The Lord forgives everyone except those that commit blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

Sin of adultery is not a mistake! Don't look for excuse and confuse others
