The Do It Slingshot mold model (BB-20-M2) makes 2 rows of Slingshot pellets in diameter sizes .295 and .37 respectively. The mold is a cast mold and makes some rough looking ball for sure! I want to see how these perform in a very raw stage as opposed to being tumbled in a rock tumbler for several hours. Lets take a look at the science and find out together!

We filmed a video using mg42 wads today and one of the petals came off every single one of them. Using a flush mount non ported choke with .33, .32, .31, and .30 cal. Every pattern had a flier or up to 3, but the rest was great still.

Dang! I haven't seen many of the mg42 wads loose a pedal like that. Maybe it happens more than I thought! As long as the performance holds up I'm good with it.

I’ve been reloading rifle and pistol for about 15 years now, but had no interest at all in loading shotgun until I started watching your channel. I won’t actually start loading any shotgun until I get moved back to Kentucky this summer, but I’ve been buying whatever components I can get my hands on. And watching your videos, and continuing to learn. I haven’t been able to get my hands on any Blue Dot yet, but I’ve got a bunch of Longshot, L’il Gun, and Unique, and a few pounds of HS-6. Looking forward to Part 3 of this series. In the meantime, still getting caught up on past episodes. Thank you again for sharing so much knowledge with the rest of us. You are very much appreciated!

Thanks Wade! I load .380 in Feds same way except for the wrap. Just no room in there on the thicker hulls. Roll crimp is definitely better. I hope you're doing well!

Hey Wade! I bought that same mold about 5 years ago and after watching part 1 I measured some pellets i made last winter. They all measure .305-.306 for the small side. They are just big enough I have trouble with the loads being a little tight and heavy if I use 30 cal data. I think along with the pellets coming out rough, the molds must be a little inconsistent over the years. The other side makes spot on 37cal. Over time I've made well over a hundred pounds of pellets with that mold and never had an issue. Keep the good vids coming, God bless.

That's what I thought. Mine measures .293 to .295 and then same as yours, spot on .37 cal.

@BubbaRountree I did load up some 8 pellet 0000 the other day just to be safe. They said there is a rare daytime danger of zombie activity during the eclipse...wanted to be ready.

yessir! I just cover the pellets Ron. they need to be totally covered for the buffer to work like it's designed to.

I was shooting last weekend with a mg42 in my load, and I noticed that the pedals came apart from the wad . It was a 00 buck load that I was shooting .
