I have work on my place butt getting an excavator and operator here is impossible. My only solution is to build my own excavator so this is a great start. Thanks.

you need some more mass behind the seat in case he grabs to much. i would put some wheel barrow wheels full of water. that way you can move it about pretty easy. and some old tubes with zip ties might be enough to keep fingers from poking the wrong bits. great idea.

Hi Chris, thanks for the feedback. When I’m use I used two concrete blocks wrapped in black wrap to help stabilise. Thanks for the comment! Cheers

How much did the kid actually play with it? was thinking of building the same thing but seems like one can only dig so much sand it the pit before it becomes boring?

Nice Project. Do you use 6 or 8mm hoses for the cylinder?
@man-madehand-made6009 Жыл бұрын
6mm is fine, and still provides enough speed!

What pnuematic valves are you using?
@man-madehand-made6009 Жыл бұрын
Hi Kevin, sorry for the late reply, valves are often eBay finds, and tube accessories (tees, fittings etc) are KEM. They are surprisingly reasonably priced (£1 per fitting sometimes) Thanks for the view 👍🏻
