I bought my car from the Crown Eurocars in Pinellas Park in 2021 and now Im starting to have mechanical problems. Yes I always look at the drain to keep it clean. I did not know that it had so many places for the electrical parts. Thank you for the information, you are quite thorough with educating your customers. I found you on you tube because my car did not start and I will be having it towed to the dealership tomorrow morning.

Nailed it on the head. You payed 10k to transfer the title of a 100k car. People dont understand that. You want a Mercedes?! Then you are gonna pay. If you make less than 100k a year And have a family to support then a Mercedes is not for you.

You sound extremely confident working on these cars S550. I have a 2007 s550 4 matic. Lately, starter burning out and fuel pump fuse in the rear SAM keeps blowing off. No starts and no crank but all dash lights and radio and ac coming on. Replaced starter and fuel pump. Car drives fine for 5days and back to square one. Starter burnt out and fuel pump fuse blown. What could be the problem ?

My 2002 CLK320 convertible has a leak in a roof also clogged drains, I got the car free it was parked for years with water getting in, I was able to start this car and drive it home but now it collected water on passenger front floor , wires did get wet, so now, when battery is connected the rear tail lights are flashing like panic mode, when I insert the key it does not make any noice, steering wheel remains locked even when I turn it while doing it, interior and exterior lights work, also power seats are working, I would like to figure out what the problem is, I am planning to make a 24hr of lemons 🍋 race car out of it, so I hope I can figure out what the problem is, thanks for your videos

I have a 2018 GLE AMG. Same symptoms, no lights, no power. Tried to jump the battery, nothing. No power from key remote, had to open manually.

I have 2008 s550 I pressure washed the vehicle it was running fine all day then right after I washed car dried it of ready to leave the car didn’t want to start back up, wondering what’s the issue

Great vid . As an older retired tech on many brands from way back, today's vehicles are really quite a challenge. I'm trying to stay ahead of an 09 ml320 bluetec. Being 200kms from a dealer, I rely on the internet ,and guys like you ,for hints. Really great info. Yes, you are spot on with the costs to operate an expensive vehicle, and it's kind of a hobby now to keep it healthy, until the cash runs out. Cheers, from Canada!!!!!

I have a c230 kompressor I got no communication i can’t twist the key no power and sometimes it works but then when I take the key out it stoppes working it gets into a lock thief mood. Emergency lights start flashing and the only way I can stop is if I lock the car. Meantime if that happens I can’t turn the car on it just locked the ignition. Help plz

Is the steering wheel locked or loose? And, of course, first question, did you test your battery?

My 2003 E320 will start but all the lights will start flickering than my car cut off now it won’t crank at all and no dashboard lights, just got new battery my key fob does unlock/locks the doors what could it be?Before this started my car was ok only thing battery drainage took it to get diagnosed was told it’s the two front seat modules, they did replace the electric modules and the issue started after I took it to the carshop

Great video! I was lucky enough to find a W120 and the interior lights dome lights and dash lights and radio isn’t turning on. Do you know if this is a common issue? The car does run and drive.

Great video thanks for all the wisdom shared. I'm having an issue almost like this, this is how I got to you. hopefully you can read it soon and reply with a helpful response. 2008 sl600. belongs to my boss. he first complaint of not being able to started without inserting the key, then he texted me saying dash is acting weird. when I got check it and try reading codes I noticed the this. you insert the key and turn to ignition. lights, radio and a/c come on. while I was waiting for software on scanner to load, everything went off. dash, radio, a/c. after 5 or 10 seconds. voltage is normal at the battery but no voltage at fuse box. while checking voltage on one of the Fuses, test light looked very deam. if you take the key off and reinsert everything will light up normal and you would have to start before it goes blank or you can not start and wait 5-10 seconds and it will go blank. can you confirm or deny if this model has two batteries. thanks for your help!

It does have two batteries, check the main battery in the trunk.

it sure is not easy to diagnose when Xentry cant communicate at all. The Gateway module is super important because it allows all the distinct CAN networks to exchange data. (buggy backup camera modules can jam *Gateway* coms and impact everything or just battery charge management) Benz are a fine example of fault resilience: how many errors can it support until it all quits.

I am in need of your help. I just replaced my my main battery and my auxiliary battery on my 2012 Mercedes s550. i am getting a error showing up on the dash stating battery not charging (Red). Both batteries are new and fully charged. Is there a way to reset this error?

First check if your alternator is charging

I fixed mine this morning by pulling the 7.5 fuse then putting it back and all is well.The fuse board is behind the panel next to door on drivers side.

I will pay for your flight and hospitality just to service my car and fix minor issues. My GLK350 drives great. Just that, if I'm turning left and I stop on the gas hard to drive off fast, I hear a hard metal clunk. Every mechanic says it's fine and nothing is wrong.

Hello, I have a 2007 s550 4matic. I was just driving and the car cuts off. Towed to the mechanic shop and noticed the fuel pump fuse in the back, 30a was blown. The starter was also due to out. Replaced the starter, fuel pump, fuel filter, and the fuse. Car drove fine for 5 days and wouldn’t start again. All light on but no crank and no start. Towed back to the Mechanic again, he replaced the starter again, the fuel pump and the 30a fuse. Car drove fine for another four days and back to square one. Fuel pump Fuse blown and starter burnt out again. Please help.
