Part 2 Makita HR5212C hammer repair.

this is part 2 repair of a makita HR5212c hammer. Part 1 showed the full stripdown and that the crank shaft was broken.
the new crank just arrive in today so here is the hammer being rebuilt again and tested.

Hello, I'm thinking of buying this machine, do you think the quality of this machine's parts is of the same as the previous older models, the HR5211C and HR5001C ? I read two negative reviews on this newer model HR5212C that you are working on and its putting me off buying it. Do you think the parts are of the same quality as the older models ?

Whats the difference between the 3 greases you used ?

2 greases. The white stuff is lighter and is designed for inside hammers for compression. The other one is gear grease for power tools. I like to make sure some is on the gears and it's good for seating o rings to as it's a lot thicker. You can used all gear grease inside hammers but as it's higher viscosity, it tends to put more load on the motor
