I pray when that time comes, that TN laws and Memphis will step in and stop her from being buried anywhere on Graceland property. She is NOT a descendent; she is an Ex-wife; she is NOT his widow. "Love of my life." She has made a mockery and a joke of that phrase. If we did a real study of priscilla's interviews and public talks over the last 46 years, we would discover she is a pathological liar. Lisa was dealing with SO much before she died. I pray she found peace. Thank God Lisa Marie was like her Daddy.

Danny you are so correct in what you have finally gotten off your chest. One of the points you made were her parents grooming Priscilla to pursue Elvis. If you listen to an interview her parents gave to George Klein (it’s on XM Radio under GK Archives) they state we could not stand in Priscilla’s way it was a golden opportunity for any young girl to go with Elvis. This statement completely contradicts all she and they have said about the reservations they had about her dating Elvis. They all had an ulterior motive to take advantage of a distraught (death of his Mom) lonely beautiful young man to make Priscilla Mrs. Elvis Presley. I fully agree with you she should never be buried at Graceland. She should just let beloved Elvis RIP. I surely do hope your Momma and Daddy do come forward and tell the real truths about what happened.❤️

Lisa Marie said in an email that the script seemed “vengeful”. She didn’t approve of the tone of this film before she passed. Elvis aside, Priscilla left out a lot of things that would have made her look bad. While they both had affairs and Elvis was obviously far from perfect but neither was Priscilla. Mike Stone her affair partner was himself married and had a pregnant wife. This wasn’t in the movie. Last year, Priscilla went after her own granddaughter in court to contest the will of Lisa Marie after her passing. Priscilla has shown herself to be a ruthless person. This movie that she was the executive producer of is an example. She also demanded to be buried next to the love of her life (Elvis) in the settlement but she also decided to further bury Elvis with this film.

I didn't think she was married to the man she had Navarone by😮 As for her attitude toward Billy and the rest of the Smith family, not to to mention Elvis' long term friends, I thjnk that was appalling. I always wondered why Elvis kept her around so long after she came to live with him, when he must have been aware of her resentment. Some fans insist he was broken hearted when they divorced; i suspect he thought it was the best thing to happen to him since he met her!

Right I'm from NC and I met my first love at 15. I was at Graceland back in October for my 59th birthday. I had never been and always wanted to go. I met a lady who had worked there while Lisa Marie was growing up. She told me many things. I feel that Priscilla shouldn't be buried there because like you said, she wasn't his widow. When Lisa passed it really really bothered me. She was only a few years younger than myself. Lisa Marie unbeknownst to her gave out some advice about grief that really helped me deal with a childhood friends' passing. May she and her dad and other family members sing along with the angels. She was a special lady and had an incredible voice all her own.

My personal opinion remains the same. I believe her parents saw dollar signs in their eyes and I believe that Elvis was blackmailed and pressured into marriage. We know that Prissy read all the tabloid magazines. I can see this as MOTIVATION for Prissy wanting to get to Graceland. Also, motivation for her almost immediately MOVING HERSELF into Graceland. I'm still not clear on the "gentleman's agreement," as you put it. I think there's more to it than the accepted general explanation. Another Commenter recently told me of an INTERVIEW that she did years ago with TONY DANZA (Taxi). During the interview, and according to the Commenter, Prissy "admitted that she HOUNDED ELVIS with phone calls, letters, etc. and used her father as CLOUT. She practically walked out when the Tony D. asked her how could any parent place their underage daughter to live with a grown man and she said HER PARENTS HAD NO CHOICE BECAUSE SHE ALWAYS GETS WHAT SHE WANTS." Isn't that just interesting.(Kinda like what's going on today.) I'm going to have to look for that interview. And let's not forget that during her interview with BARBARA WALTERS in 1985, Prissy said, why should she give up her DREAMS and move out and allow another woman to take her place!" As long as she kept her "place"..... Love had nothing to do with it. Let's NOT forget that MIKE STONE also said in an interview, that it was Prissy, who "hotly pursued" him. It was Prissy that invited herself over to meet Mike S.'s pregnant wife and daughter knowing full-well she would be in his bed. In her memoir, she wrote, "I need you and want you in every way and, believe me, there's no one else...I wish to God I were with you now. I need you and all your love more than anything in this world." Seems to be pretty “bold” for one to write this in 1960 as a Sophomore and, who presented herself at that time as being demure/angelic/ virginal. I don't feel sorry for her at all. She knew EXACTLY what she was doing. Prissy was SEXUALLY AGGRESSIVE at a young age. **Just like Priscilla admitted, that she begged EP to consummate their relationship in Germany, but he did not; **Just like she was remembered by her 6th grade boyfriends as being the “AGGRESSOR” and being “determined.” **Just like by the 8th grade, her REPUTATION was SUFFERING because she with the boys who were PROMISCUOUS. **Just like she had an AFFAIR with CURRIE GRANT in EXCHANGE for an INTRODUCTION to EP ** Just like, in addition to Currie G., she had SEVERAL intimate relationships while in high school. I have some thoughts. One the more you feed negative people the more they want. Two- I agree her parents encouraged that relationship. As a parent myself there no way. Absolutely not. Three- I watched PP's sons interview on Scientology. Growing up in that culture definitely did serious damage to both PP'S kids. Hello Danny and Theresa! I want to start this by saying I'm a lifelong Elvis fan from out of the womb - I kid you not! Had an older brother who adored Elvis, and in fact, my entire family loved Elvis, and we saw him four times in Vegas. But it's just been recently that I came across a "fanzine" called Elvis The Record that your dad had a lot to do with, especially telling the stories of times with Elvis. As you know, these came out starting in 1979 and I'm not sure how long they went on with the magazine, but I just recently found out about them. I bought a handful and have been reading them cover to cover and the stories your dad told really take me back to whatever story he's describing. Makes me feel like I'm back in the day. They are little nuggets of gold for a fan to read about and finding out about this magazine forty-something years later makes me feel all warm inside. I'm sure there are die hard fans who know all about this magazine, but I really appreciate the work he put into these issues. I saw Baz Luhrmann's Elvis and I personally loved it. But it is a hard "NO" for me with the Priscilla movie. They did a movie back in the day based on her book, so why do another one? Besides, Sofia Coppola said in an interview she wasn't making the movie for the Elvis fans, so....why would I go see it? Just wanted to let you know about these Elvis The Record fanzines and how happy it makes me to read these stories. Happy Holidays.

I remember one of Elvis's cooks saying Elvis was upset and said he wasn't sure he wanted to marry and she told him not then and he said he had to because he promised her parents and the Colonel said if he didn't go through with it it could damage his career if it came out he had this young woman living at Graceland and them not being married.Poor Elvis probably was all mixed up.He mightve loved Priscilla but not in love .He loved women and was not the kind to settle with one woman for good.I am pissed about Navarone getting in on the Graceland money.That money coming in is because of Elvis. Yes, Elvis had a 5 year relationship with Anita Wood who was living at Graceland until August of 1962 when she announced to the papers she was leaving Elvis. Priscilla arrived in Memphis weeks before graduation and turning 18 in May of 1963.

I grew up in MI's Upper peninsula (yes a "Yankee"), my parents were teens in the 50's. My mom has said many times girl's at 18-20 years old and not married, it was like "your not married yet!"?
