Coryell's theory & skills in this lesson series are so awesome, I'm lost for most of it. However, the only item in the entire series where he seems out of his cumfort zone is the "2 parts at the same time" riff in this lesson. Yet this is the only piece from the series that I find easy! Three possible conclusions? : 1) He's being kind & giving hope to viewers like me. 2) I practise more two part/Chet Atkins style pieces than him. 3) He was off his head on drugs at this stage in the lesson.

This guy is smooth. It's funny how he was stumped on that different rhythm in the beginning and yet just smoked everything else. I need to learn the theory behind Jazz. I need to know why the passing notes work.

My goodness, the motion in his version of Giant Steps is mind-boggling. Is there anywhere you can find the sheet music?
