Hey Jimmy, you probably won't see this but I wanted to say that I recently found your videos and have been really enjoying your content. I especially like the old Corolla and trailer fixing videos. I think your channel is criminally underrated and I hope your channel grows exponentially, and you get the subscribers and recognition you deserve. I understand you are busy with work but I hope that you find time to make more videos because they are awesome! Keep up the good work man.

I see all 👀 haha and thank you for the kind words. The channel will probably not grow too much, I don't do any flashy gimmicks or even regulate what comes out of my mouth even slightly which makes the algorithm (and some sensitive viewers) not too happy but I don't do it for views or money, I do it because I would already be doing it anyway so why not film it? Its fun for me but my fun is limited between days off (which are rare). I have another Previa video coming soon and also a new Camry project on the way so there will be more content just not lightening fast. Thank you for watching!

Looking forward to the Camry project as I'm in the process of getting my own SXV20 Camry wagon project-car/daily here in Australia but finding one in decent shape is proving to be difficult. I'm opting for the 3.0L V6 as I'm planning on taking it on road trips and using it as somewhat of a tourer (I know, oil leaks galore haha).

Been a mechanic for 15 years...my hands are nice and in good shape. I wear gloves and wash my hands. So not all mechanics have rough hands. I also hate when people use minivans for work and absolutely destroy the insides...it was nice at one point until some carpenter got a hold of it and ruined it. Especially a van that's super hard to find parts for because it's the ugliest van ever made and nobody cared about them back then.

For whatever reason I'm like a cat, you put gloves on me and my hands don't work so I've done 10 years of labor and repairs outdoors without gloves. I've tried wearing them they just make me feel weird so I deal with the cuts and ugly hands lol. And yea I wish people would use these as work vans, makes it a pain to put them back together

The valve cover gasket, plugs and wires can be done from the top. Just take the passenger seat out with 4 bolts and there is an access hatch under the carpet. It's pretty straight forward. First time I did it I was 17.

I did it on my 93 blue Previa and the previous 91 I had but I had more space to work than I do now. Its a tight squeeze in the driveway so I'm not looking forward to peeling back that sticky ass carpet in 39F weather on a dirt driveway lol. I just changed the rear trans mounts on this van today for the next vid and that was a real hoot. I plan on removing the whole distributor to replace the o-ring at the same time I do the tune up

Now that is a cool van, did you import it from Japan? You'll most often see my aqau van on Gateway Blvd East near Cielo Vista and also on Dyer because those are the most frequent places I drive it.

Idk I've just never worn gloves, I'm so used to slicing my hands open I don't even worry about it anymore lol
