Hello my name is Abby and I am a full time vintage shop owner & owner of two antique booths. I spend my days thrifting and sharing those thrift hauls on KZbin. I've been self employed for almost 3 years now selling my vintage and antique finds at my brick and mortar store, Abigail's Artful Abode, in Poulsbo, Washington, online on all the major platforms including Etsy, Ebay, Poshmark and Depop and now at my two antique booths. One at Epic Antiques and one at Lander Street Vintage, both large malls in Seattle.
I really am passionate about thrifting reselling 2nd hand, vintage and antique decor items so they can live and be loved in a new forever home. Oh and vintage clothing is a newer adventure for me so look out for those videos as well!

The antique fair gods are with you! So cool that on leaving Porte de Vanves you came across another place. Glad you made it to the Jardin des Plantes too, one of my favorite places and the Menagerie is actually the 2nd oldest (standing) zoo in the world!

Thank you so much! Yes, I usually travel by myself. I've traveled to Turkey, Thailand, Vietnam and Spain on my own. Except for one young drunk Albanian at the Eiffel tower no one has bothered me. Although I have needed help with my luggage.

I want to know what the prices are like in Paris at the flea markets. I know you haven’t shared what you have paid for the items that you are selling and that’s possibly why. I just want to see if I would be able to afford to buy a lot if I went over there. Great finds as usual!

Just like at home prices depend on where you go. Porte de Vanves and Clingancourt were expensive but the pop up flea markets had dealers who are more negotiable and the neighborhood sales have been the cheapest but obviously not curated. Would you be buying as a reseller or for yourself? As a reseller I have to take into account all the extra expenses. Like today, I had to pay for a taxi instead of taking public transport because of my luggage, I also have to pay for check in baggage. The Vide-Grenier site has been a game changer and I feel that even with all the extra expense I’ve gotten some fair deals. Not cheap, but fair.

Lol, that could be expensive as I don't speak french and auctions in the US can be nerve racking I can only imagine how much I may wind up bidding here in France. Would be fun though.
