Your location for the light comparisons are really perfect for comparisons of any light.It’s funny that the spill when you had both running on turbo lit the entire area, which was pretty pitched, except for some lights when you went out in the beginning. Really good job on your production always like watching.My favorite still is the Nitecore TM 39 .👍👍👍

Thank you for your encouragement. The Nitecore is truly a flashlight that offers very respectable practical power, and its performance is also very good. The only drawback is that its price is a bit expensive 😅

@@dvha79 great light great design love the LED screen. The other great design of the light that it gives you two options for power.The TN42V2 is also a little costly, not quite as much as Nitecore TM39 . I think the 3×21D is a hell of a light and for the price they’re nothing like it.

@@jlappin6277 Convoy recently distributed an improved 3x21D with a new Buck driver circuit architecture for much better performance than the Fet driver circuit at the time the 3x21D was released. I ordered this new Buck driver and installed it on my Pioneman K90, I must say its performance has improved greatly, the Turbo brightness level remains more stable for a longer period of time. Besides, I also bought a Mod battery tube to install a 46950 battery from Pioneerman. Currently, my Pioneman K90 has strong light, high Turbo performance and very comfortable usage time with a 46950 battery with a capacity of approximately 32000mAh. Wonderful 🤩

@@TITAN3084 I also compared the performance of the 2 Fet linear and Buck drivers on these 2 flashlights. With the Fet linear driver, the current consumption in Turbo mode will be higher (28A), the light will be stronger, but it will not be maintained in a flat way but will decrease significantly right after the Turbo level is activated, then the flashlight heats up faster and reduces the light intensity sooner. With the Buck driver, the current consumption in Turbo mode is adjusted lower (25A), the light will be a little weaker but it is very difficult to distinguish by eye, but it maintains a very stable Turbo light level, the flashlight takes longer to heat up and takes longer to reduce the light intensity. In my personal experience, these two flashlights use Buck drivers which is completely reasonable, the flashlight head is not really big (90mm), the heat dissipation is not excellent, so lowering the current consumption a bit and ensuring a stable Turbo light level for a longer period of time will bring a much better experience.

The flashlights in the video are Pioneman K90 and Convoy 3X21D, what is the difference between the flashlights, which one is brighter and has a longer range, which one would you recommend.

These two devices actually have the same light, the same distance, and the same light gathering. These two units both use the SBT90.2 LED chip, the reflector is also the same, and the driver is also the same 28A type. The difference here is that the operating system (UI) of these two devices is different, and the way to set the time of dimming by its temperature is different. When the same Turbo is turned on, the 3x21D set by Convoy is about 20 seconds earlier in the morning than the K90 of Pioneman, in the clip you can clearly see this.
