Maybe I could get killing the spouses because you know, divorce takes time, you lose assests, your reputation etc. So yeah, maybe you could say there was some reason why they felt their spouses where roadblocks for their "love story"... but the kids!? WTF!? The kids weren't really an impediment and Lori could have easily passed the kids off to some relative to take care of: JJ's grandparents, Tylee's uncle,aunt, or her sister. They weren't really an obstable, so I can conclude that in that case it really was about the money. Chad probably felt the money coming in from Lori's kids was much needed, especially since Tammy was no longer alive to support him financially. Lori in my view was probably delusional and really believed his stupid ideas about her kids being "zombies", as well as Alex, her brother, who did the dirty work. She didn't really any issues with the kids before, so I'm assuming Chad's intervention played a huge role on her mental state, ideas etc. And Alex.. I don't get that guy. How stupid can you be? Almost all the members of their little cult seem to have been sick with some mental problem. They're not right in the head,none of them.

What aggravates me is the fact that the defense is so inadequate. In cross-examination, nothing was brought up about Tammy's depression and they both acted so odd during their last visit. It was so apparent that they recognized that something was wrong. She was showing that she was depressed? Could depression have tied into death?
