This has become my favorite foundation. I’m older, with dry skin, and Urban Decay All Nighter was my favorite, but was too drying, so had to change. I tried several foundations, but didn’t love them. Tried this, and my favorite guy, who works in the beauty industry, told me my skin looks flawless. So happy to find a great foundation that doesn’t dry out my skin!

Hi Janice! That’s so awesome 🥰 there is nothing better than finding something that is a perfect fit 💕 I recently tried the concealer from Il Makiage and I have to say I’m very quickly falling in love with it. Still testing it out but so far it’s really nice on my dry under eyes

If i do good skin prep (exfoliate and moisturize) and use a good primer, the After Party foundation works great and wears well. I like to mix it with a little CC cream and illuminator for a more natural and lighter finish.

Hi I ordered Il Makiage foundation, Just woke up etc, now thinking about getting the After Party a shot, like you, they offered me to keep the one I ordered, which is a shade too light, I do have very dry skin so I was wondering if you feel that you had to put on lots of moisturizer for this After Party? I like full coverage but want it to be as dewy as possible and the Woke up did not cover as much but was drying too. I did get the Power lift and I may need to look into a stronger one. My basic question is, I would like to know the main reason other than the color, why you choose this one, After Party over the other one?

Kathleen Lights did a collab eyeshadow palette with IlMakiage as well! I have a very similar skin type as you and the original foundation didn’t seem like it would work for me but I may give this one a try. It looks beautiful on your skin!

Hi Heather! Thank you so much for watching 😘 I didn’t know she did a collab with them. I’ll have to check it out. I absolutely love her. Hands down my favourite product I have tried from them is their concealer. It might be the best concealer I’ve ever used. At least on my skin.

Thank you so much for this review video! After seeing my cousin use this for over a year, I caved and took the fdtn quiz, I have dry skin too and I hate matte looking finishes. I was matched up to After Party and there’s so many less review’s for that one. After a full year, are you still using this foundation? ❤❤

What shade color did they send you? Did you get for combo skin?

In the After Party foundation they sent me shade 050. I haven’t worn it in a while but I seem to remember it being a good shade match. I have dry skin but I think it says online that it helps control oil and shine so might be good for combo skin 🤔 I have incredibly dry skin so I can’t really speak to that. I am currently going through this right now. They sent me 075 and it was too orange. So now they are sending the 060. I'm waiting on it now but seeing it on your hand worries me still with the orange. I may request a change one more time and maybe request it in this formula. But I have seriously dry skin. I have been wearing Fenty, but it seems like it is sticking to my dry areas.

Hi Stephanie! My favourite foundations right now for my very very dry mature skin are the Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin or the It Cosmetics CC Illumination. Those have been my go to through this winter. My skin has been extra dry this year. If you have a Sephora near you maybe you could see if they would give you a sample to try. I don’t know if they still do that but they used to pre pandemic. Thank you so much for watching 😘💕
