I’ve been saying for a couple years now that Il Makiage is one of the best companies to purchase from because the products work and their customer service is by far the best in Brand standards … seriously Top Notch! I’ve received more coupons from this Brand just for reviewing their products online or if I don’t like a shade or something they will resend the shade and also a $15 or $20 coupon code just because of the inconvenience. I mean seriously no Brands do that. I appreciate them for being the easiest to work with it. Especially as an MUA and content creator here on KZbin when we’re always purchasing things to review. I am trying to decide which one of their foundations to pick, I am 46 and I am dry dull, so how do we get the dewy look to make our skin look softer and foundation not settle in my crinkles lol? I did get Haus labs concealer and LOVE IT! I also got the blurring powder. I will probably get hers to. I need to know what is best for us under foundation and would a dewy setting spray be what to use?

Hi Erin! In all honesty since filming this I have been able to explore more foundations and I know exactly what you’re looking for as I’m 46 as well! Personally none of these I would recommend for what you’re looking for. The Haus concealer was good but I would not recommend the Haus labs as it wore horribly through the day the more I wore the less I liked it! But please remember we all have different skin types! I did review it so you can check out my full review kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXzOoYSua6t4o9ksi=Mze14ceFwrE_Iddp but I do have acne prone skin and pores so that really made me dislike the haus labs as it’s packed coconut alkalines and my dr advised me to stay because my pores get clogged. I just wasn’t impressed the more I tried it off camera and took it back. I found other ones that were 10x better esp for that price point! I will pay if it’s good! I personally love my Maybelline skin tint plus vitamin c it’s for me the absolute best not just because of the price but because I can wear this for literally 16hrs and pretty mych little to no creasing! And it’s buildable yet with the right glowing primers you can make it look dewy. I personally don’t care for the dewy look on my aging skin as it doesn’t wear well on mature skin. I also LOVE my Surratt Dew Drop foundation which is by far the #1 foundation ever made! It’s definitely a more radiant long wearing foundation that provides buildable coverage with amazing ingredients!! Those two have both lasted me through humidity, sweat and extreme long wear without settling into my lines. All liquid will settle a little it’s the nature of the beast but definitely the best and I’ve tested and worn a lot! I do have videos on both of those and more recent ones because they keep popping up as my top foundations even months later!! If you like I can provide you the links to make it easier to watch those videos to help you make the best choice! I also will always recommend Armani Luminous Silk as it’s been a tried and true for me for so many years!! Perfect finish for what you’re looking for! Remember so Sephora sale as I posted is starting April 5th for rouge! 😍 As for a dewy prep just be careful because Dewey and fine lines as mentioned about don’t mix well. It looks amazing when we apply but you would have to not set your foundation to keep the dew which I don’t advise on mature skin. Look for products like L’Oreal lumi glotion go.shopmy.us/p-3677157 which is amazing that keep the glow but doesn’t look so wet that we’re accenting our fine lines. I talk about it and show the shades in today’s If I lost all my makeup video I would repurchase these right away! Hi Tammy! Thank you so much for watching. It really depends on your skin. I have normal to dry skin and I always set my foundations no matter what it is with setting powder. With my mature skin especially it’s important to always set if you want any longevity to your liquid foundations. This is definitely more of a matte foundation the after party so if you never set your foundations than you should be fine. It’s pretty bullet proof once you set this down though! I have cool undertones (blue viens) and IL Makiage matched me with this - in the lighter foundation, but I was going to return because it set funny in my tiny wrinkles, around my eyes.They are sending me the thicker heavier foundation in 35 - the one you tried in this video. It works with my french/Irish tanned skinned, in the lighter "woke up like this" foundation. Hopefully the other formula works with my wrinkles. (I'm 48) Overall it is a light coloured foundation. It looks great on you.

I’m around your age and it’s does well on my fine lines and wrinkles. I love mixing it with moisturizer when I’m feeling a little dry or my Armani luminous silk. My mom who was really good colorist always used the golden rule thumb of jewelry lol. She would say if you look good in only gold jewelry than you’re a warm tone, silver jewelry your cool toned and if you can wear both than your neutral! I should share that to the Glamfam! My daughter told me before but I forgot which one she said I was. lol I always assumed that since I am light-med.brown-skinned and even more browner in the summer, that I automatically had a warm undertone. Hi Whitney! Don’t be scared the After party is stunning on the skin and can be built up so you can just even tone it down with some moisturizer and it looks beautiful! I love the finish on this after party. It really wears so beautifully. It’s been awhile since I filmed and released this and I don’t wear hardly any foundation anymore because I finally got my skin back. But when I go somewhere special I love just taking a very small amount of this and my Drmtlgy hydrobooster and it’s so beautiful! Not cakey or too much that way! Try that and see if that would work if not I’m sure they would let you exchange! 😘❤️ Let me know how it goes!! 🤗

They are really good with sending back and getting another shade. You might want to try a more neutral undertone so you can cut that orange. Let me know how it goes and I hope that helps! ❤️😘
