Hey dude. I'm wanting to Remote controlify my R2-D2, And would like to do this, with the remote control, but keep his original board. Is there any way You could share how this was done? This looks amazing!

XxxRedrocker95xxX It would take about a month just to make a how to video or manual so all I can do right now is point you in the right direction since we are slammed building Lightsabers :)) You will need a 12 pin 2 position switch to switch the power for his legs between R2's interactive board and the RC car board by splicing into his leg motor wires...Then do a search on eBay for a "Tumbler" type RC car or an "Avante Courier" that uses a remote control like the one in my video that controls each leg motor independently and comes with a 6 volt shrink wrapped 5 cell rechargeable battery pack that can fit inside his storage compartment. If you can solder or splice small wires and have a multimeter you'll be good to go from there>> Good Luck and MTFBWY>> Always...

Hmm, Would it be possible to simply wire up the hasbro r2-d2 legs to a tumbler without any board modification? (if you are fine with removing the board) I'm aiming to make an "RC Puppet of R2-D2, And would like to have a lot of control (move each leg independantly, move head manually, activate sounds, light beam, etc) from the remote. Do you have any ideas about that? Thanks :D
