Bob, it turns out that stacked split washers don't help. Each of the split washers lines up with the next split washer, as you tighten them. You end up with just one springs worth of tension. You are better off with just one.

I have an SA-2060A and it has a problem where the insertion loss with either coax1 or coax2 is pretty drastic. When I put it inline with either coax the signals drop so low they can barely be heard. This is the antenna switch assembly you’re working on in this video. It’s as though the SO-239 connections are faulty somehow. I’ve ohmed them out a there’s continuity. Any idea or suggestions what may be the issue?
