For anyone who has ever used a bobbin arm on a conventional vise, this auto bobbin is a game-changing proposition. It eliminates the need to manually wind the extra thread back onto the spool. I just purchased 3 more of them. They aren't for everyone. If you tie where you find yourself in a flow state, these were designed for you.

Hi Tim. I thought that you had to throw a couple of turns around the arm to get tension. Have the clutch mechanisms been updated?

Nope, same set up we have had for years. I believe the thread is wrapped around the leg of the bobbin in the video.
