Did u try heat before cutting?

No sir it was too long so I had to cut the shaft that slides inside of the other one. I think mine was the yj shaft instead of the cheerokee shaft.

Ok once u cut it do u knock it in or or try to pull out?

@@jasperlacey8352 i pulled the shaft apart and cut about 2 or 3 inches off the inner one and then slide them back together.
