Awesome tank!! I love all the little hatches and openings! The paint chips on the hatch look so realistic!! All the details look so real! Great work man, looking forward to video 4!

Great work putting all those details, Les. As you mentioned, tanks do have dirt in the crevices and everywhere in between. The amount of dust they kick up, you can't get away from it. The chips, excellent details. I'm impressed with your thinking around the obstacles. Happy to hear this build is pushing your limits, growth is good. Can't wait to see it in a couple of weeks. 😎👍

Thanks Chris! I am almost finished with it, at least the Production turret version, with Greg's super cool dual mounted Machine gun rig, and a nice guitar string antenna! It is looking pretty satisfying despite the horrors of this level of a model build! My cousin Mike, who I grew up with and also enjoys WWII military history, has seen the finished kit and reacted well to it! He commented on my weathering, all of which I have picked up from watching countless model weathering videos here on KZbin, and other places, like our meetings. By now, there are great references for what to do with a tank model! It pays to research! And I cannot wait to show you guys this tank in person!

Get a stand for the camera and just move the parts. Great job! The interior looks so realistic. I built tank models for years between 1977 and 1984. Just started back up a few years ago. Mostly Israeli armor. Your techniques are fantastic.

Thanks so much. Hard to do without airbrush, but I prefer hand painted stuff anyway. The key is the pigment powders. Learning the chipping methods. That's all rather new to me.

Nice work there Les. I built a 1/16 Tiger I mid war and I did Zimmerit which was a lot of work but that model didn’t have an interior. Your King Tiger looks awesome!

It’s a lot of work, but worth it for such a great model. And so glad I passed on that Zimmerit! Thanks for the comment!

Excellent work Les! FYI, I am going to reprint the MG34 and turret mount. Shoot me the length of the supplied gun and I will match it. Thanks for the SRM shout out!

Thanks Greg! You rock! Too late, guns are in the hull! But I think they were just at 8cm.
