54:00 In This is an extremely important point , inexperienced mediators or spiritually inclined people who have not thought this out Nyams are very subtle and we instantly take a form of pride in them , St Jof The Cross wrote his treatise of the need to allow God to nullify and purify the mind thus of all this subtle egoism , I have had a vision , sense of bliss , a subtle breakthrough and then it , no none of thses are it! They are as the teacher says experiences to be seen as such and to be seen as distractions as are the sidis or special powers clairvoyance , prophesy , levitation all sorts of extraordinary things ! No thye are a hindrance ! Abvsolutley a very important point to fully understand they create a another more dangerous less obvious ego-body-mind form .

YES if you'll excuse the pun , absolutely and corresponds perfectly with the highest mystical teachings from all other lineages and ways ie the jhanis ,Christian mystics so on and so forth . But I have never used Pet , honestly does it matter except that we enter this Thoughtless state and appreciate how and when we fall back ( insight ) , what would Huang Po make of this , pet ? The same way i guess forest monks clap !

Pet equivalent to or like a shudder a sense of disgust , an aggressive desire to be free from it , immediately like being stung by a bee .Develop more understanding of why this is so necessary .Humility ...the correct path is "hard" difficult to navigate , the analogy of spaciousness can help . So it is very good .....Hit it with Pet this is a Nyam , the turyia state is stateless , enlightenment , realization , God consciousness are all descriptions for the dame State--Less state . Everyone has different blocks and needs different emphasis meher baba said there are in infinity of ways ideally suited to each person , each situation. Stabilization in this in the final or stabilization in the destination.

The problem "the supreme teaching points towards that which IS utterly beyond description" the best that can be said is to see what it is not , niether body nor mind i -am in fact i am as it were beyond the I-am. YES wonder full destroy it again and again so many parallels with st J of the Cross , a bell to my ears so opposite to anything wordily or subtle egoic . The point-less , P...o...i.........n............t. But I might say make it your own whether you use pet or better still understand the Pet principle and use it , don't want it , intense negative aggressive energy to break through the delusions the mind throws up at times playful at other very serious ! Life on earth ...? Umm The mind addicted to suffering or victim-hood, masochistic tendencies are more difficult to see maybe see , sexual energies arsing turning into lust , subtle pride becoming ego eccentricity and small world I want whatever they are all , cut through them as in their beginning ----"thoughts " yes i see it pruning the rose back to the base , the suckers out of the tree ,i understand the principle that is better in my humble opinion than using someone else's way . I woulkd say we must experiment , explore and the divine Will manifests in us for the most perfcet way , differently yes as Erich Schiffman brilliantly described it in Yoga , improvise feel the flow , and then download the inspiration and allow the movement . VERY IMPORTANT point of reference is to get to the point where one sees , All styles , techniques and rituals stem from a traditional ego eccentric source and are thus limiting and stifling , we all have our place and THAT place is effortless being , as Eikhart s put it beautifully why should Judas choose any other way than to be Judas in hell and work that through in the same way learn and DO NOT IMITATE , there IS NO likeness in God but perpetual UNITY which is NOT likeness( more an autistic child wanting to be one and failing miserably , trapped in some controlling dynamic , Jesus sayeth "When i am gone I will send the holy spirit, of course the holy spirit is with us all the time but he came to earth to act as a living symbol and living human archetype such that others could see , why he replied to his beloved disciples do you want to see the father , when you have me, oh ye of little of faith ( my addition). God bless great exposition though and very interesting , we always miss points the intellect needs refining to the point beyond knowledge for me , then it spontaneously dissapears , so as not to confuse archaic magic with mystical awareness , or the spontaneous arising of sidhis with their fake developed counterparts .
