Part 3b BMW N54 VRSF Air Intake Upgrades

In today's episode, we focus on the intake upgrades to the non-forced air section of the N54 into the E90. The forced air updates are in another video, so stay tuned for that!

You can add the silicone intake filters, the catch can, all types of stuff.
The hardest part of this swap is two fold:
1. Getting that rear tube installed behind the engine in between the firewall and installed on to the rear turbo inlet.
2. That front tube clearance with the belt drive of the N54. MUST make sure there is no interference there.

Literally came to see how you secured the front 😂 i used zip ties to hold it closer to the fan kuz i too was worried about the pullies rubbing on it

That's EXACTLY what I did actually. Zip ties were the way to go, and I had about 0.5" of margin to the alternator pulley, and the tubing didn't go anywhere! It was in there pretty tight. Sorry I didn't document that in the video, but yeah zip ties are your best bet here.

I’ve done videos to clean a car. They’re a bit boring and not very informative if you’re looking for videos on how to install a vrsf intake kit on an e90.
