She's bloody awesome mate.. Pretty sure the reverse gear changing will loosen up a tad over time.. I love the auto horn ha ha ha.. Disconnect the horn ring and shove a button somewhere.. Well done on sorting it out .. she's a beauty.

I have a RHD 1946 chevy fleetmaster. Yep, gears can be a bit 'thingy' on occasion. It can get stuck in 3rd if you pull up in 3rd. Other than that it goes very well. I agree the steering is interesting. I've made some adjustments and the handling is loads better. A great car though.

I have one of the same color, it came with the same emblem, that emblem is considered rare, it is mine, it is a super elite group, in fact, I have an engine from the same car, your car is very beautiful!! Greetings from Mexico

Yes then emblem is unique to 1946 and stands for V for victory. 1st year post war. Greetings from UK 🇬🇧
