Hearing this story made me speechless & pretty amazed. I've always wandered about the after-life of this life too & this story has proven that there is a next life. Life works in many unexplainable ways & miracles happen all the time, just because it doesn't happen to you doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. I am very happy for them to reunite. My mother just passed away at 39 years old with her quab neeg. Tus txiv neeg help send my mother's quab neeg with her unto her next life. She left me before my 23 birthday. I believe and hope to reunite with her as well. I wish her quab neeg will help her to reconnect with her past life and come find me. I am her only daughter. Amazing. I think that she's too young to make sense but her heart feels it. I can see the imaturity of a teenager in modern days locked in a compassionate love of a tender caring old mother. If she had said this and that then I would think that she has been coached but her modern attitude somehow tells me that she was not lying. Goodluck to both son and mom. What a wonderful story. The young lady is still very young so she's still not able to express all the emotions that everyone wants her to. Her mind is still just a teenager (you can't expect her to change over night just because she has memories of her past life/be how she was), but her soul is the age of "mother".

What a remarkable story! The whole question of reincarnation is a challenge to the validity of our views and confronts us with the extent of our doubts. The first and perhaps most important question we should ask is whether or not these "memories" are genuine. When Vamneeb Muas tells the story of his past growing up with his mother sounds genuine but when Nkauj Kuab Vaj tells her side of the story it sounds unreliable. She's too young and does not have experience telling story.

I don't think the story is necessarily fake. It's true that both are telling their story independently, but you have to understand that the girl is still young. I feel that she is just shy that's why she didn't say much. She also has a bit of a language barrier just like any other Hmong America kids her age; it takes her a while to reply back in Hmong. I do wish that she would have gone more into details, but because Wam Neeb is consider an elder, he likes to go in details. I was a bit lost.

There is no DNA/scientific proof needed because this is related to God, not science. Here's my synapse: She died, went to heaven, but didn't drink the waters of forgetfulness, as a result when she reincarnated into her new body, her soul was able to remember her past. Might not be fake but poor planning on 3Hmongtv part. 3hmongtv didnt go into detail how they come about this movie and they didnt explain to us audience weather or not the real mom was there in the studio when they interview waneng and his mom. I think that this story is not suppose to be told so that you people can judge whether it was true or fake and whether you believe it or not. I think this story was out only to share that it happened so ppl can be aware that there is such story like this. I know the "mother"/Nkauj Kuab personally. I can say it's fake, but I can say it's real. I've heard many stories of her family and household. I won't judge but when We were younger, she never mention things like this. I also agree that if they weren't interviewed together, both stories would have been different. Interesting story but I need more evidences to be convinced. Rather than telling the stories infront of each other, maybe interview the girl by herself and then have Vam Neeb and his siblings verified if the stories are true in a separate interview.

um . . . well, the thing is, whatever you believed in, when you or anyone goes to reincarnation, you will be forced to drink to erase your memory. For some they faked drinking the water and thus retained their past memory. For some minority of us, who promised to come down and do our duty, came with qhua neeb, our neeb open and show our past memory to educate us. But still, not all Txiv neeb or niam neeb will have the privilege to these memory because they are not emotionally ready yet.
