Hi Karen, thank you for this fantastic tutorial. I’ve been trying for days on end to make a pair of crochet slippers but have failed miserably every time (even when attempting the so called easy patterns). UNTIL NOW. I’ve been crocheting since I was eight and am well over fifty now, so slippers should have been a breeze. Nope! But Your clear instructions and demonstration were brilliant. Finally success! I really enjoyed this pattern and the somehow social occasion of crocheting stitch by stitch with you (the history lesson was very interesting too). Thanks very much and keep up the good work.
