I know right. Actually, smoking real cigarettes with a kid in the room and no one was freaking out. I love that it's not a set. That's a real house, probably one of the crew's. I'm sure they turned off the gas and made it safe, but that's a real oven and gas line. I respect that they didn't ham it up like normal Hollywood would.

Same here. It was a wonderful and honest time when we made fun of ALL things EQUALLY. Now we are having to make nice and lie all of the time just to spare the feelings of overly sensitive people who can't function without all of their anxiety medications. Look how dysfunctional people are now without coping strategies or any idea of consequences.

LOL . Back then if someone was offended by a joke, we made fun of them too And for good reason. Fooke'm if they can't take a joke" was a prerequisite to growing up. . Since then, The emotionally unchallenged and immature have started to take control of the American psyche. In short, we were once tough and durable and are now emotionally weak and fragile. I mean cry closets and "Safe spaces"?! Pft...We are not built the same.

Early 40's now, teenager when this type of show was the norm. Great wild times. Now I watch and think there is no possible way this could ever be aired. We 'progressed' and now even I can see how this was pretty crazy comedy that could never work in today's world. Good in some ways yes, but we lost some humor that can help cope with societies struggles. Glad to revisit some strange wild, twisted humor. Its ok sometimes to laugh!
