Hey friend I have a Volvo backhoe BL60 it has trouble turning on. After the third try of trying to turn it turns on it fires up. Also, if I put gas on a rag and apply it on the air filter it turns on. After it turns on it stays running no problem. If I shut it down it won’t start back up. I have to crank if three times and the third time it hits and turns on. Need help plz. Thank you

Hi Arturo, I think you have solved your own problem. It sounds like it is not getting fuel. I'm guessing that when you are turning over the machine the shaking of it turning over is changing something. I would suggest that you watch the vid on installing the injectors to understand how the system works. Thank you for watching

Sounds like you are not getting fuel to the cylinders. I meant to say watch the video on installing the injector pumps to understand how the system works.

Thank you friend. I couldn’t find that video. I found the one with the shut off solenoid. The injection pump is the one that you removed to check if the rod was moving.

how many volts you supply it to trigger?

It is a 12v volt system so applied 12v.

I changed the pumps because the engine was running with difficulty, and if it started and I stopped it, it didn't start, it had to cool down. After changing the pumps, it started for the first time it hit and the filter was new The turbo is good and the problem is black smoke
