Fascinating to know that I stood where you stood with my sister when visiting Hiroshima in Japan. Very sobering, sadly when I went a very loud American man was mouthing off how the people deserved everything they got, which kind of spoilt it. My times in Japan have always been nothing but wonderful, wonderful sights, wonderful people, wonderful food, and so clean. Amazing reminders via your video diaries.

I liked Hiroshima, the trams & laneways with the small bars & shops give it a real Melbourne-vibe. And the History adds to the character of the City. Hope you managed to try some Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki. It seems that word is getting out how good value Japan is as a destination.

It truly is amazing value and super safe as a destination for a family holiday. Stay tuned for some okonomiyaki footage coming up ... 😋

There’s a really good shop in the centre that sells house hold goods and has the best selection of Japanese knives at awesome prices, best souvenir I’ve ever bought gets used everyday , has real gremlins shop vibes 😉

Tom love the trip vlogs. Did you know you can ask your hotel to send your luggage on to the next hotel. Do it 24 hours before. it’s super convenient

Good tip! Have to weigh up the cost between replacing the wheels vs the cost of the transfer 😁

Hi Tom, which dates were you in Hiioshima,? The leaves were still so green? Did you get to enjoy any autumn foliage on your trip? If yes, do you mind sharing the places and dates of visit? I am planning to be in Hiroshima in the 1st or 2nd week of December for autumn foliage viewing. Thank you.
