@@keepitsharp357 man ive sharpened almost anything that cuts and some that dont to razor sharpness. After i failed a few times trying to resharpen my andis clippers and after looking up different techniques circular, figure8, I found your vids. I must say you have, "honed your craft" because the other ways I've tried just didn't compare to the results i found in your vids. One nagging question eludes me, because i cant find where you are from and am truly puzzled for one reason, NEVER HAVE I EVER SEEN A BROTHER LET ALONE A FAMILY THAT ENJOYS The white stripes, Nirvana, Iron maiden, Ram jam AND PLAY THEIR JAMS. Simply unheard of. I applaud you and yours sir 👍

@@niggasonparade325 first i want to say i appreciate the compliments and for you watching our videos. Me and my wife were born and raised in the armpit of all armpits newark New Jersey. In that area everyone was exposed to rapp, neo soul, R&B, Motown, a little jazz, and church. However there so much more to music out there. Even though i was in the hood i was exposed to musical instruments in school and learned how to read music and learned rythm changes and so on. After learning the truth about the bible and God i came to appreciate that God created music and sound to be colorful and a wide variety so me and my wife taught our children how to enjoy all music and rhythms. Just like creation God created variety of shapes and colors for us to enjoy. Humans, animals, trees, sea creatures, and music,ect. So we as a family enjoy all types of music and have all races of friends and enjoy all cultures. We just have fun😊

I would highly recommend using gloves to protect your hands when dipping I to any solution and use pliers to handle your blades w/o touching the wear bars during cleaning.

Dude, you are amazing, I recently got into the sharpening game (no one was hiring because of COVID so figured I could sharpen a few knives to keep afloat) and I stayed up way too late watching this series, and leaving this comment. I am trying to get more barbers/stylists/groomer customers but had NO IDEA how to sharpen clippers. Unfortunately, I have been doing everything on my WorkSharp and can't afford a huge investment in machinery right now. Would the "Hollow Ground" sand-paper method be good enough for a professional, or would it be better to stay away from clippers until I can afford a specialized machine. Either way, you are a badass and a great teacher. Thanks again for making this high-quality content.

The sand paper is more for personal and individual blades. When you get into professional sharpening you need speed and quick accuracy.

Very informative, you are a perfectionist. I learned a lot that applies to my Poodle clipping (just my own two) now I know why I occasionally cut their sensitive feet. I will zero gap every blade.

Yea i have one. But most people may not have any so i try to teach people with the simplest set up possible so they can get the job done with minimal supplies. Also it will be so loud while doing the video.

On the T sharp i use the soft rubber wheels and the leather wheel. On the one with the clamps im used the lower end wheel that came with the kit for just sharpening lower end shears.

This is the only professional DIY clipper maintenance videos i found Good Job... i watched all 5 parts-Need to buy 220 grit and a sanding block- these blades i guess could get about 3 sharpening's only if you lucky...THANKS A LOT

Too much grit and oil on plate, you need to demagnetize blades after sharpening.
