In a previous video you could see all the dip switches set to ON - that’s why everything is on. If you set them to off - they will be controlled by the thermostats.

Hi my system has been working fine for 15 years and now the lounge zone has stopped working I’ve taken the actuator off and the flow pipe leaving the manifold is hot all other zones have been turned off but the return pipe into the manifold just isn’t getting warm the flow gauge is full of water and the spring is not sticking when I take the top off and is full of water any ideas

Just to correct you , thermostatic radiator valves work exactly the same as them actuators ,when room reaches the desired temperature it shuts completely, there is some danfoss valves that control pipework temperature but very rare, Hope this helps.

Hi James Actuators mechanically are the same as TRV valves, but dont have temperature control. When 230v is applied, they are open. When the voltage is removed, they are closed. They have no temperature sensors, the external thermostats that we install are what controls the actuators. Cheers Paul
