Hi Sid and thanks for posting this video. The Reliable 3,000 watt inverter has a low voltage alarm at 30DC±0.5V and a shutdown at 29.5DC±0.5V. I know it's twice the price and a larger unit but it should solve the cut off issue. I found a different smaller 600 watt inverter BixPower gp36600ns but the specs don't mention the peak (which should be double?). It supposedly has a low voltage alarm at 29±0.5V and shutdown at 28±0.5V. Please keep us updated on a decent powered buck/step down converter. I want to see what's possible as far as a fast charger for phones (maybe the MAJINNO 108w cigarette lighter charger) and maybe connect standard 12v inverter.

Hi S, Thanks for your comment. Since I am using the scooter batteries at 36v (Top end 42v - bottom end 30v), I was trying to find an inverter that would go that full distance. I just looked at your Reliable 3000w. You are right, It looks like it has a lower cut off voltage. But... it's also $295. lol Anyways I found this one, thought I would take a chance. www.ebay.com/itm/114815648032 I guess we will see. As far as the bucks converter. I bought this one today. @@Steven-e7c Yes.. I built one last year using Jehu's previous LH1 batteries (3) last year and used this successfully so I thought I would give it another shot. I thought about going with this one, which was the largest I could find... And I still may. @@sidjones-randomstuff2058 That D-PLANET 60amp 12v converter appears much beefier than the other. I ordered the other $30 dollar one u posted but I might also want the one you just posted for my other setup. It says it's 720w, does that mean it's limited to a 720w 12v inverter?

How do you charge the 8 batteries at the same time

Actually I created a pigtail and I only charge four at a time using Xt60 connectors. I use a 3 amp charger. It takes a while.

Yes, I suppose you could. You would need to find a solar charge controller and an inverter for 36v.
