Great ingenuity devising the Jenga blocks to hold up that body ;-)) The frame mockup is going well and you better be out there with an umbrella when the wife gets home!

Pretty good progress Rob, hope your wife wasn’t too upset with you having to park in the rain! Just working on my frame now so I appreciate the how to’s! Great advice as always.

Progress. I’m ready for the tail panel and trunk panel install. I have to do the same to my 55. I know I’ll learn some tricks. Thanks for the vid.

Would their be any problems running side engine mounts with the original front bell housing mount ? I am adding AC and it's real tight running the lower radiator hose between the fan belt and the right front motor mount . Thank's

Many guys run the front engine mounts and old tranny locations. Unless you’re running big hp, they will hold until the cows come home!! Good luck!

Nice progress Rob. When you do get around to restoring the chassis and body, are you going to do your own soda or sandblasting? I am also running out of a 2 car garage and will need to roll my 57 2dr SC outside and try to do it in the driveway.
@haffrods70552 ай бұрын
I usually cup brush and sand all the main areas. I use my sandblaster on the hard to reach areas

Why you running brake and fuel lines and putting the body on without cleaning and painting the fram? Kinda ass backwards isn't it? Just not like your previous work, just wondering
@haffrods70552 ай бұрын
I explained it. Cars going to be put together and running before it's restored.
