Hi my friend ! Your Saudi Arabia tours are always so impressive. It's so scary when the police come. I wondered if filming is not allowed in Islamic countries. I think it's a big step forward that Saudi Arabia has allowed tourist visas, but it seems like it's still difficult for women to visit the country. Thanks for wonderful sharing. Filming is allowed as long as not to video military and other government buildings though not all Islamic countries are very strict. Women travelling to Saudi Arabia are safe. There's no more gender separation in public. In Riyadh gents and ladies were cheering their own team in one table. Hijab is no longer compulsory to the locals and tourists. Thanks for your support!

I didn't want to say it clearly in the comment but in my opinion the policemen wanted to scare you in order to receive money😬.. you have traveled more than me and you will have noticed that corruption is rampant in many places in the world.. as you know Saudi Arabia it's not very open to non-Muslims and we Westerners are often looked down upon for our way of life, so I think that when the policeman realized that you were tourists because of your cameras, he called his colleague to scare you and give you a bit of a break. money, or getting a tip from the tour guide who then never showed up. A similar thing happened to me in Dakar with a policeman who only spoke French... but since I know the French language well, I pretended not to understand, saying that I only spoke Italian... after about ten minutes of the policeman looking to be given money he resigned himself and said something like "damned Italian!" and he left😅.. even in Brazil we were stopped by the traffic police who wanted money to let us go.. a few days ago in Azerbaijan a policeman insisted on having a taxi driver take us to Qobustan, he didn't speak English (by the way , since you will be going there in September, know that few Azeris speak English!) at a certain point I showed my hand which was still a little dirty with mud from the Mud Volcano so the policeman understood that we had already been there and he let go😅

Hello! I am sorry I thought I have already answered! Yeah! There are people who extort money from you. In Saudi Arabia, definitely it wasn't the case that they want money from me. I experienced in Morocco, Spain, Argentina and they were really wanted money from me. In Barcelona, a guy approached me and was asking for my passport and if I don't have in my possession, he said that I have to pay a penalty. I said that I have been many times and it's my first time. I said I am happy to pay but in the police station or I said to come with me in the hotel so he left! Lol

The baking is normally woodfire and clay oven. but still it's delicious the bread. It's unlimited bread. The food was good for 4 people. The rice has already lots of meat in it.

It's good now that the whole city is open to all faiths. I understand because that's the Holiest city in Islam. There's no difference in other religion that there are restrictions. Don't be put off in visiting Saudi Arabia. Have a look from part 1 of my adventure and defintely you will be inspired to visit AlUla. I am in the process of editing Jeddah and Riyadh.

Hello My friend! It's scary especially if there's a communication barrier. If only they said from the very beginning why they detained us is to wait for the tour guide to take us to the museum to learn Prophet Mohammad's life which really very interesting!

Wow! I have planned to travel to Islamabad then to explore until the border of China and walk to the Hussaini suspension bridge this coming October then to Afgahnistan afterwards but I ahd an accident in Turkmenistan so I had to cnacel and it will be byend of May next year!
