That's Penny Hardaways reverse pivot stepback from the 90s. Very difficult move
@09lowkey2 жыл бұрын
Not quite the same move. The pound dribble double side step move in the corner was definitely a travel tho (0:53) not that NBA refs would call it. But Andrew Wiggins actually does the Penny reverse pivot stepback move frequently, not quite as smooth as Penny. I'm glad the Blazers picked this guy up, he's definitely a bucket. I hope he applies himself on Defense tho because that's what the Blazers need most.

People don't even realize that Tyrese Halliburton and Keegan Murray are about a year older than Killian Hayes. We're about to see what Troy Weaver actually got with that seventh pick.
@paulwarren60622 жыл бұрын
I like Sharpe's potential, but he's still only 18 and with only high school experience. He could be good right away, but what if he takes 2-3 years to develop like Killian? I'm of the thought that Cade has pushed the rebuild further along. So I'd like to team Cade up with solid fundamentally sound players. I like what both Murray and Mathurin did in collage. They are a bit older, have collage experience, and fit the Pistons culture. They don't have the upside of either Ivey or Sharpe, but they still have upside. I think Murray/Mathurin will just fit in faster, and won't need as much grooming. I want the Pistons to be more competitive next year. I'm not worried about finding another star, I'm fine with Cade being the star. Weaver can filled the holes as needed through free agency and trades. No need to gamble.

Sharpe won't "fall" to 4th, since the top 3 is pretty much already determined. Going 4th to 5th is where he's expected to go. Unless one of the top 3 teams pulls a fast one and surprises everybody. Either way, he won't fall past 7th I think. But a rookie won't help the Kings make the playoffs. Which I've been hear the owner has made a mandate to do next year. They need veteran players. He’s definitely a gamble since we haven’t seen him play in college or g league but you can’t sit here and tell me this man isn’t a future star. He’s got a young PG type of play style and anyone with half a brain needs to pick him up. Any team from 4-10 needs to pick him up asap. Kings, pistons, pacers. They for sure have great fits for him in their rotations. Portland is a if because they’d need lilard to go away for they can let simons and sharpe shine fr. But that could still work. Pelicans would bury his talent. Spurs would be a great fit to see the type of player he is when it comes to being coachable and him and Murray would be a crazy defensive backcourt considering sharpe can turn into a 2 way type of player on the next level.

mmmm.. easy against a non existent defender barely challenging him. Anyone can dominate against thin air. Prospect has not shown any of these skills against elite competition in pressure situations with a crowd breathing on you. His vertical might be elite, but his rise to that 50 inch point is slow and floaty, which makes him vulnerable to being challenged mid air. After about 48 inches of vert, there are diminishing returns on a 10 foot goal. Compare that to a true force of nature in Zion Williamson who zips up to that 48 inch point in a blink with ferocious momentum that even those who time it right and swat at him doesn't affect him.
