The total deduction on employer contribution is restricted to 1.50 lakh. This will fall under the umbrella of 80C limit itself. It's not an additional deduction over and above 1.50 lakh provided under 80C. Meanwhile, for employee contribution you can get additional deduction of 50K.

Team thanks for providing so much detailed explanation about NPS and it’s benefits. I have two questions, (1) How can the subscriber change the status from resident to nonresident without reaching out to POP bank/agent as the account is in e-NPS mode. (2) After few years if the nonresident subscriber returns back to India how should he again update his residence status. Also if you can do a short video about NPS-NRI impact, it will be great… thanks again

Sir I've a question.. ? How to choose NPS wisely. For example, If we have exposure in Equity through various sources (stocks, Mutual Funds, ETF) then there is no point in choosing Equity option again in NPS.. Likewise, how to make a decision on how to manage Active fund ? Is it mandatory to choose Tier 2 ? I selected both tier 1 and tier 2. is it possible to close tier 2 alone ?
@elangovanshunmugam453 Жыл бұрын
There are too many questions. Watch our live session on Thursday 3 pm for complete answer. Tier 1 is mandatory but not tier 2. You can exit from tier at any time. Only tier 2 alone cannot be opted as well. Investment in nos is an optional. It is to inculcate saving habit and help you to take investment opportunity during ups and downs of market cycle and for good tax free corpus at the the time retirement. Experts handle it in nps better than individual at a paltry expense ration. I am not paid by nps to promote it. Thanks for your queries. Rest on live show. 👍👏

After 60 years, if i not withdrawn 60% amount, then to100% amount may i got monthly pension?
@geecay Жыл бұрын
yes, you can contribute 100% to annuity. 60% is the maximum lump sum withdrawal option, we can't withdraw more than 60%. But in general, it is not advisable to contribute 100% to the annuity. withdraw 60% and use that amount to the one or any of the below option. 1.) Close debt if you have any. 2.) Invest in AAA rated bond which will offer a higher interest rate than your annuity returns(Am not sure about returns from an annuity, seems like it is around 4% to 6%) . 3.) Invest in high-paying dividend equity (any PSU/INVIT/REIT companies). e.g= PGINVIT dividend yield is more than 8% 4.) Increase your medical insurance coverage if possible.
