No, it’s not selfish. Not reciprocating is selfish. With that said, I think Jeannie is a selfish lover who fakes her sexuality because her sexual development is severely stunted as a result of abuse. Adrienne is so overtly sexual, she seems desperately eager to please her man for his validation and that gives her self-value. I don’t think Loni has had any meaningful sexual relationship before her current boyfriend, so I don’t value her take on sexuality.
