In this video I cover the final assembly and adjustment of the PSC Body Mount Tire Carrier. The most important part of this video, in mm opinion, will be the adjustment tips... because I see way too many videos of these tire carriers left out of alignment.

I have the same carrier with four 2 gallon Rotopax, Hi lift jack, shovel, 2 aux lights, axe and backup cam. Once you get it adjusted and dialed you are going to love it dude. Good buy and good video

That was an awesome vid and I certainly appreciate you sharing! IMHO, there will be future adjustment probs as you add weight and the assembly starts to experience road and off-road wear. It is by far the best engineered body tire carrier and you made the right choice. Best of luck to you and thanks again!

Thanks! Yeah.. It definitely has to be re adjusted. I've added a lot more weight with new wheels and tires since then. I ensured I had enough adjustment room in the adjusting cam, so I am hopeful it won't be painful!

Nice install - do you foresee any issues with the hinges on your new body mounted carrier? I know you experienced some stiffness with the bumper mounted carrier.

I have a 2010 JK and the tire carrier rattle drives me nutz, how is the rattle on that? Looks like it’s ready for the Dakar rally

Does this one rattle? My carrier is like your old one. Mine rattles at the handle side. I had to put a plastic wedge in there for some ear relief.

B Roberts not a peep. that's one of the reasons I picked this design. my old one eventually loosened up and rattled a bit too, but not annoyingly so. this one is Rock solid tho

Nice review but this design of mounting this thing seems like a dog. That's a lot of money to have alignment issues. Idk about lock as well. Looks nice but cumbersome. Great review though.

Why? It's an amazing tire carrier. I could have made the install appear magical...but it wasn't. However, once installed... it's a very solid and adjustable carrier.
