Loni’s continued emphasis away from the victims saying “It’s in the past , we need to worry about the future” was very disheartening. While we can’t change what has happened to the victims , if their cases still lie within the statue of limitations, then they deserve to receive justice. (Healing as a victim of sexual assault is a process. With one phase likely being denial, which “his women” appear to be in ). They need counseling, rehabilitation and support ... not to be disregarded because it happened in the past.

He needs accountability. You can receive justice as well as "professional help". The two are not mutually exclusive. You break the law and violate people, then you've got to deal with the consequences of those behaviors and patterns. This is coming from a therapist who believes change is possible when people are willing to accept responsibility.

I duno what they call them in the US, but in the UK we call them forensic hospitals. And he definitely needs a high secure forensic hospital. A prison that understands the importance of treating mental illness appropriately but still enforces rehabilitation and retribution.
