Hi sir, how can one being in India effectively look for jobs in Canada? Is it mandatory to get a work permit before applying for jobs?

Hey Ankit. Thanks for watching the video. As far as your question goes, unfortunately you wont get much response from recruiters when you apply from India. Reason for that is that unemployment is very closely monitored here and recruiters have to justify as to why are they hiring from outside the country. Hence, you need to be either a PR or have a work permit. That's when you are eligible to work abroad. Best way is to get into a company which can send you to another country on some projects. Harsh but true. Unfortunately not a very positive answer but its purely from my experience in UK and some other parts of the world. Hope it helps!
