I’ve always found the SII indicator switch quite easy. As long as you don’t try to operate it with your foot.

@@jodiethemorrisminortraveller The problem I face is an unknown history, I got the car fitted with a toggle switch under the dash for the indicators. nothing on the column itself. I suspect a mishmash of years, as it's registered as a 53, but has the central speedo on a split screen as in late 54 to 56. Investigations will be required when I get more time.

Always a problem when somebody has been at it first and not left a circuit diagram.

I struggled to find a 35737 so I bought a “universal” indicator/headlights/horn stalk which arrived today and looks as though it should work, however a wiring diagram wasnt included so it might take a bit of experimentation matching the wires! There’s a bundle of wires to an 8 pin plug - white, green, grey, black with white trace, brown, black, 2 x yellow with red trace, then 2 wires to another plug Red, and brown with white trace….

The colors aren’t an obvious help and you may need to check the switch with a multimeter to see what goes where. Good luck 👍

Now I need a similar stalk on the left that operates the wipers. Oh, almost forgot, I first need a Morris Minor.... 😭
