Thank you for your vids and information. You've provided great insight into the projects I'll be facing shortly. Being a brokechanic with little mechanical experience, your vids offer fantastic tips on what I'll take on versus have installed professionally. You also help with deciding what should be powder-coated and what I can get away with painting. Thank you for sharing.

Definitely a weekend project, thanks for all the yikes parts to be somewhat modified but then what is a jeep without any modifications, I will take on this in a couple of weeks when the units ships and I will be taking it as easy as I can thanks to you for your tips and how to, I will have to steal your Idea on the logo on the dash-bar that is a really unique touch there. again thanks for all your videos and how to.

Sure does add a ruff and tuff look to the Jeep. I am wondering what this cage will do for you as far as added protection. Looks to me like you will need to roll the Jeep on its roof for this to come into play and since the cage is bolted to the factory roll bars, is it really adding any added strength to anything.
@jaymanxxxx7 жыл бұрын
i'm thinking it would double the roll cage strength in a down the mountain rollover.
@illusionzz20117 жыл бұрын
It may help with actual rollover a bit... but the main purpose is to keep the windshield from crushing inwards towards occupants. The top bar will add a tad to stopping it from collapsing in as well on the occupants. End over end is where this would shine imo. But a safety feature no one ever wants to test but well worth the money for the piece of mind.

Is it possible to lower the dash bar any further (essentially touching the dash)? It seems like that would improve visibility.

Great video if u did it again would u powered coat or paint
@o3djeeps7 жыл бұрын
Definitely happy with the paint. If money wasn't an issue, powder coating would save me time (in exchange for $$).

does that bar across your dash obstruct your view.
@o3djeeps7 жыл бұрын
Mike Bogdanovich it does a bit. it didn't take long to get used to it, but I find I have to look over or under it when turning in tight spots where I need to see my hood corners.

Where'd you get those roll bar covers I can't find them anywhere
@o3djeeps7 жыл бұрын
Dan Arias sorry. These are Bartact. Pre-production testing. Hopefully they'll be available soon. They are nice.
@danarias19507 жыл бұрын
Yeah that are the old ones look terrible all cut up to fit the roll cage
@christoffer19737 жыл бұрын
did you do eny thing to the speaker bar?
@o3djeeps7 жыл бұрын
No... just reinstalled it. The instructions say that it may sit about 1/2 inch lower in the middle... and I found this to be true. It's because of the nuts on the bottom from the two bolts that hold the front/rear panels in place... they cause a bit of a space between the steel structure and the speaker bar. Not noticeable to anyone...

Nice job but please put in the corner windshield pieces back in, It will look cleaner, I know it might be a pain in the but to get back in but it will finish up the job.
