Jeanie is very smart. The amount of regret she would have had if she had had a baby with Fred… I’m glad she didn’t let anyone pressure her, and that she stuck with doing what she deep down she had to do, which was to not have a baby with Fred. She even said that when he proposed they had never spoken about marriage and she wanted to say no, but everything happened so fast and she didn’t want to hurt him.

I don't think Jeannie was against kids cause she didn't like them. I knew she LOVED kids. She just was worried about not being the best she could be. All it took was love and encouragement from loved ones to show her she would, and she finally did. No more guilt or worries

I believed her 🤞🏾😅 I guess her feelings about kids were based on fear of having another human depending on you to a point where you can possibly damage their future or outlook on life, and she really didn't wanna have a kid with the ex I guess, that marriage didn't bring that comfort of bringing a child into it.

@JasmineJ yeah I work with kids and I know 100 percent I won’t have any but sometimes our upbringing and the relationship we are currently in factors into it. A lot of people are married for long term and are very firm about not having children and then they split and meet a new partner and want them with that person. There’s absolutely nothing wrong and I think it’s beautiful that she met the right person for her to go on this journey with.

Knowing now what Adrienne was going thru and the fact that Jeannie very openly never wanted a child before and was able to carry her own healthy baby just speaks volumes to the kind of person Adrienne is. Finally part two, this was my favorite part just seeing how happy these girls were for Jeannie. The way Adrienne grabbed her, Garcelle asking for permission and Loni crying her out eyes with tears of joy. You felt the love. It’s a bittersweet moment for me, because on one-hand: • The God given joy of childbirth and having a child has been blessed onto Jeannie Mai & Jay Jenkins, and she has blossomed on an unexpected life journey from absolutely detesting wanting to have children, to realising it’s because she subconsciously knew it wasn’t a safe/ right time to have children during certain stages of her life, and now is expecting a child of her own. • But on the other hand, Adrienne Bailon-Houghton has been vocal and open about wanting children for _YEARS_ now, and you know she most likely is still trying with Israel Houghton, but God has not blessed them with that gift... _YET!..._ 😉 Regardless, CONGRATULATIONS JEANNIE & JAY, this is _ABSOLUTELY AMAZING_ news that I was not expecting OMG!!!!! 😭🙌🏾🤰🏽🕊✨

This hits so close to home. I was married for 16 years, without getting into too much, he wasn't a good guy. He didn't hurt me physically but every other way imaginable. I found someone recently who is so patient and loving I keep thinking there's no way this is real. It's been 2 years and I still keep peeking around the corner waiting for the other shoe to drop. I admire how Jeannie was able to let go if all her past hurt and just go for it. So happy for her.
