I broke up with my boyfriend over a week ago and we also had a genuine, heartfelt chat a few days ago. I sort of feel at peace with it all. We actually dated for 6 months last year but things weren't working out so we broke up. However we were still very close and after about 8 months we decided to give it another go because there were still lingering feelings. Unfortunately we started having a lot of the same issues again and we tried to talk through it and make it work but we couldn't. I really thought he was the one, i thought we were soulmates or something. It was hard to let go because i love him so so much but i had to. Aw, sorry to come across this. It is a shitty thing to go through but it will make you stronger and wiser. Don’t rule anything out, this may not be end, if it definitely is the experience will help when you’re ready to move on. If you meet someone who isn’t comfortable “sharing” the relationship you’ll have a better idea of how to approach it and if you meet someone who is you’ll be aware of the pitfalls. Personally my favourite part of a relationship has been the early part when no-one else knows anything and it’s just two people connecting. Keep your head high and eyes open.👍

It’s never easy to part ways even if you both think it’s for the best. There is that attachment that will tug on you until someone else comes along. As for the other “dating” scenario, sometimes we wind up in situations we can’t control, and even get put into a “can’t get out” due to a convenience reason, as in its someone you may like, but don’t love, yet they provide certain emotional support, give you a reason to go out instead of staying home brooding, things like that. It’s not a good thing, but sometimes it is necessary. As for what you post on here, that is entirely up to you. If your channel is going to be transparent, then things like dating can be included, just don’t reveal names if the other person is not ok with that. But if the channel is something else entirely, you should be able to choose what you post, and anyone who says you MUST post a certain thing, needs to make their own channel, and let you do you. Those things happen. You seem like a great person. I'm sort of like you. I expect feelings, emotions, affection, etc., to be reciprocated. If they're not, I don't feel like we're on the same level. Whatever emotions and affection I get, I'd reciprocate many times over. I get that would annoy some people and some may seem that to be clingy. Even for just friends, I try to respond to texts as quickly as possible. I of course understand people are busy so there's going to be a delay, but overall, I just look at the person's overall intentions. Luckily, I found someone that I can reciprocate 1000 time more and they'll be more than okay with it. I'm sure you'll find the right person too. One thing you have that may make things difficult, and will require you to be more observant and picky, is that you're an attractive guy. So you'll attract many people that may not have the most desirable intentions. I'm uglier than Shrek so when someone likes me, it's a bit easier to believe it's actually for me. Hahaha! Good luck.
