It is painful to switch jobs on H1B visa. Majority of the employers are unwilling to transfer. It is absolutely pathetic situation and things get worst once your I-140 gets approved and you need GC sponsorship from your new employer. Then, it’s even tougher to find such employer. You will waste your time and talent in H1B and believe me , if you put this much dedication in job search in India or other countries, you have a high chance of landing into your dream job.

@@Chuchutv-kh7wz It means if you search of 100 jobs, hardly 10 of those jobs will consider H1B applicants and if you get into one of them then again it will be difficult to convince them to sponsor green card.

Thanks for the informative video. How do you leverage the new offer letter salary with your current employer? Let's say the current employer don't match it and now you'll potentially have to be in the current company for at least a month while your h1b transfer goes through (or more if you've RFE or worse case gets denied in a hypothetical case). Can you let me know how would this work?

Hi Parth! my h1 is picked from the consultancy company last year. And it is approved.I am yet to file DS160 and book slot for visa interview. Now, i found a new employer who is ready to transfer my H1.(offcourse a better job from reputed company) May i know if the transfer is possible as i never had US Visa earlier and i never travelled to US before. I am not planning to inform my original employer. If at all my new employer transfers, will my original employer come to know about the transfer ? If yes, do i have any risk ?
