The crown on the map marks the location of an elite mob. You can kill it to get rarer resources.

For what the game orig. launched with, i enjoyed it and put in some hours. It was def. lacking in areas and I really felt the building, while pretty, needed some TLC. Glad to see they have put in the work and brought us this major update. NG def. has potential to be even better as the updates come.

The core game, Unlocking "blueprints", gathering resources, base management, followers is nothing new at all. However visually the game looks stunning, I would see myself being excited to play this and then after an hour become bored with very familiar gameplay.

Played this at launch with some buddies. It was not launch ready, it has some cool aspects about it. But I honestly would give it a few years before I go back it needs alot of work done compared to other survival games. Still cool tho to play if your a survival game enthusiast

Progression is extremely similar. So is the base building with linking items to crafting tables, food, boss fights at the “end” of a biome. It screams valheim.

From what I recall, yes, they should reset, but I'm not certain if the trees do? I know everything else does, including enemies.
