Do you have a mesh operator to render your particles?

Fabian, hello! Is it possible to make voxels only where indicated by a black and white texture, or to do it using vertexpaint? Thanks!
@fabienescudero3 жыл бұрын
hello Tom, no i dont think its possible with birthvoxel. you have to edit your mesh before use the birthvoxel . or use a birth with a position object like the second part of the tutorial and choose selected vertice in the location tab or use a map
@tomyoda3 жыл бұрын
@@fabienescudero Fabian, I thought so. I selected the necessary polygons and created a second object from them. I will also try the second method. Thank you!

Hi, nice tutorial, thx a lot. Is there a way to make a specific frame in the simulation static? I want to make a 360° Animation.

Hi. You can just go in retimer tab in tyflow and selected the frame you want

I know it might be a little of topic. But would it be possible to have this kind of Force appearing and that going back to the original state, but with a fluid like flor. Like you would simulate Waves on flat surface but this time on a Sphere. Lets say a Water sphere with waves going out and back on the sphere surface again. I tried doing it with the Force Field and timing it but it doesnt have that Fluid like feel, the force stops and the force field starts pushing in. Tried smoothing out with Smooth operator but it messes up the "Wave Force". Thank you again awesome tut
@fabienescudero2 жыл бұрын
Hi, I don't really have any answers at the moment because I have never tried it but basically what you want to do is a loop of a fluid or particle effect like a wave, is that it?
@ediskujovic8982 жыл бұрын
@@fabienescudero yes. But the waves are lets say effected by the storm. And you have a wave going up and down. The surface force turns on and off
@fabienescudero2 жыл бұрын
Hum OK ! Basically if you want to return to the original shape I think the best way is to use the custom properties with Tyflow but if it's a phoenix simulation I don't think it's possible

is it possible to transfer the animatin with color to Unreal engine. I know you can do it with Alembic but would it be possible to some how store the information of gradient ramp color based on position change or velocity magnitute and then export that to ue4?
@fabienescudero2 жыл бұрын
I know you can export vray materials from 3dsmax to ue4 but I don't think it's possibl to export color or gradient data because they are generated with tyflow. Maybe try to export uvw and velocity with the alembic export but I don't think it will work

Great tutorial, learnt a lot. Just one question, was there a reason to use a custom property node for the mapping, when mapping node already has from velocity magnitude as an option?
