I'd actually have to disagree. I'm not saying the channel is bad, but I don't think it's underrated for a channel that has nine videos over the course of over two years to have 6.6k subscribers, even if all of those videos are really good. From what I've seen, a much better example of an underrated channel would be TailsFiragaLP. Has been around for over nine years, uploads reasonably regularly, and the content is far from bad, but he only has 323 subs. Particular Mushroom is great, but I don't think I'd call him underrated.

This video surprised me. With the number of SM Sunshine glitch videos I've seen, I didn't expect yours to have ones I've yet to see. Very refreshing! (Long block ahead) Discord servers can easily become a mess. If you did make one, I'd consider joining it, but I'm not particularly one to start conversations on such media platforms (although I have jumped into conversations I feel like I could be a part of.) That being said, I'd offer to be a moderator, but 1) from the Discord servers I've seen, moderators are typically very active in conversing, and 2) I've never really cared for being in a position of such power unless there is a specified set of rules to follow that cannot be easily misinterpreted, and don't have a "grey lining" to them -- that is to say, don't require personal opinion / input to decide if they're being broken. After all, since it'd be *your* Discord server, I'd want to be able to withhold its rules as *you* want them to, not as I, or any other moderator, could reinterpret or misinterpret them as. I've seen more than a few corrupt moderators abuse their power. That leaves me conflicted with the idea of becoming one, as while I'd like to help maintain such a community, my concern in inadvertently becoming another corrupt moderator drives me away from it. TL;DR: I offer to be a Discord moderator (should you set up a server of your own), but only if you think you can't find more fitting people to do so.
@ParticularMushroom6 жыл бұрын
I have similar concerns with a discord! You hit a lot of issues on the head, and the rules part is a big one; as part of a few discords myself, no matter what the rules are, it seems there will always be a grey lining. If you were to say something like, no mushrooms in chat, well what happens if you're discussing a game about mushrooms? Is it worth killing conversation about a video game just to keep the rules intact? Add to that, what rules would I want anyway? What rules do I NEED for a healthy atmosphere? It makes me wonder, in the long run, if a discord will be worth all the trouble (and there will be trouble). Should I start a discord with a few moderators because most likely the discord will start out small anyway? What if it gets hugely popular all of a sudden? So many questions, and the more people talk about discord, the more I can get an idea of what's best. So thank you!
@gaming_bigfoot6 жыл бұрын
My suggestion is to try maintain a ratio of moderators-to-members; as to what ratio to use, hard to say, but I've seen servers maintain anywhere from 1:10 to 1:50 on average. It also wouldn't hurt to have moderators from different time zones, so that moderators can be active and available at most times (provided you can find someone in another timezone anyway... usually need a *very* large support base to start attracting foreign fan attention.) At the end of the day, I'll support you whether you make a Discord server or not, but having seen the work that goes into maintaining them... I can respect the decision to not want to have one. Good luck with your decision on the matter!

Damn, how the hell did I never see this channel before? Your videos are great, and I learnt an absolute ton about Mario Sunshine's secrets and glitches from this one alone. The crane clip, the way the water layers work, getting the Yoshi shine without him, the thing with the duck riders... damn, it looks like Mario Wiki needs a few updates with some of this info soon enough. Still, may as well as mention something I didn't see in the video. Namely, how hitting the duck riders or turbo nozzle box lets you get off the Blooper you're surfing on. It's not much, but it's a neat little trick for people who don't want to have to steer the thing to land at the end of the red coin mission.

Well i think its time to for me to share a very crazy glitch in rico harbor that i discoevered long time ago which not many know. First you have to clip into the ground using the crane, then out of bounds go into the direction of delfino plaza near the invinsible wall but dont get in bounds. Now here is the tricky part you will see a part of the regular floor that is out of bounds, this floor is very glitchy, go and swim to that spot. Once you are there you have to do the following: You have to jump with the hover nuzzle between this glitchy floor and the blue void, make sure to always land on the glitchy floor side so this works. If you do it correctly mario should create a new water layer even above the ocean, if you repeat this process again and again mario will start creating more layers of water way above the ocean in other words Mario will able to swim on air. You can create all the layers of water you want and swim to the sky. But caerfull the glitchy floor always needs to be under mario for this to work. If mario is no longer directly above the floor you fall. Well sorry this is long hope you try it out.

I must say, this video is absolutely fantastic. Here I was, thinking that I was the only one who knew about the Smoke Stack Clip, when all of a sudden you show it off! I was blown away! There were only about 4 minor things I knew about that you didn't mention, which vastly outweighs the number of new things that I learned! Also, here's my best explanation for the "saturated floor" effect. Whenever an out-of-the-ordinary collision check occurs, such as Mario being popped back in-bounds, I think the game does a sloppy check to see if Mario has entered a waterbox due to being positionally corrected. This changes an otherwise invisible value that keeps track of the highest Mario should be able to swim upwards. Normally, this is placed at the actual water level when Mario enters a waterbox, but this glitchy, roundabout method destroys the illusion. This is why being popped back in from underneath the floor creates only some water while popping in from a wall creates a lot of water. It is *not* a second waterbox/waterlayer underneath the first. I hate to channel plug, but I would love to share a video I made a while back where I also explored Ricco Harbor a whole bunch kzbin.info/www/bejne/epWyZpyaopV3kNU Keep glitching!

There's some weird things you can do with the cage ceiling flip-panel near the start of the level. If you are hanging underneath on the right side, flip to the top, and immediately start moving you. can walk in place. And sometimes when you ground pound through, and press B to let go, you're ground pound velocity is preserved or something and you drop weirdly fast. Also, if you backflip from the ship's chimney, and pound through, you can take damage as if you fell from a large height.

New subscriber here, love what you're doing with these series! I don't think you need to be as concerned with churning out videos more and more frequently. The time and dedication you put into arranging each of these detailed videos on their own really shows, and I would gladly take quality over quantity. I understand that you want to put out more content to keep your viewer-base interested; from your commentary at the endings of previous videos, it sounds like this is a personal goal you've set for yourself. But at the end of the day, your channel should reflect what you want it to be, regardless of the number of uploads or the pace at which you upload. Take your time, and I'm sure many of your followers will gladly wait.
