I have an alternate theory about the female Pianta at 22:12. What if she doesn't have a crush on the male Pianta inside the pool but INSTEAD is sensing paranormal activity that Mario and the other guests can't see... 😮 I mean the hotel already is somewhat haunted with all the boos floating about, but maybe these are other spirits that aren't boos... 🤔

Actually, you can get a 4th 1-up mushroom in the Hotel Lobby Secret by spraying the 3 strollin' stus so they fall on their head. Once you've sprayed all 3 of them, jump on one of them and a 1-up will appear

Actually, 6. If you hover over the stus in a way so they flop over in like a triangular shape, ground pounding all 3 at the same time gives you 3 1-ups. Get the other three for a total of 6!

The manual also includes a possible glitch/technique in Mario 64, the Forwards Sideflip. The only difference is that it's ridiculously easier to do in Sunshine than in 64.

One completely random thing I did once in Sirena Beach was, in Episode three, right before grabbing the Shine Sprite, jumping off of Yoshi. I think I was either trying to infinite hover into the Shine, or to jump off Yoshi, grab the Shine, and then land back on Yoshi. However, I guess the water was just deep enough for Yoshi to decide to die in, so I got to see Yoshi's death animation during the Shine Get scene. Also, it is possible to get the Electrokoopa to loose its shell and pause awkwardly before growing a new one back in Pinna Park. After entering the park and heading to the right, you can bait the Electrokoopa on the hill which rises toward the Ferris wheel into shooting his shell of the side of the hill, or even into the water if possible. You get the same effect as you showed in this video, just in a different setting. By the way, I love your videos. You always put lots of effort in, find things lots of people never knew about, and all your videos are masterpieces. You always inspire me to go out and try random things in Sunshine. It really is a pity you haven't been discovered by too many people yet; you deserve more subscribers.

I have an assumption about why you can only see the attic when warping to the bottom of the void: Maybe the other floor levels have a despawning script, but the attic does not. Why I think this is, because you travel up the hotel, meaning, as the hotel itself is filled with objects and textures, you can never see up or down it towards the next or previous floor. The attic, however, has blackness all around it, and a very zoomed out camera, so, if the previous floors would not despawn, you could see them below. Just a theory, however. Edit: Another theory: Maybe, for loading the attic, the game is simply checking if you are not on any other floor. If you are in the void, you are of course not on any other floor, so the game simply loads the attic, without checking if you actually ARE in the attic.

I was 9 when this game came out, so I wasn't scared; more like pleasantly surprised at how creative (and difficult!) the manta boss fight was. It's still one of my favorite boss fights ever: Manta rays are among my favorite sea creatures, the design of the electric goop, the pissed off baby Mantas, the reference to The Shining...pure awesomeness!

13:40 ish: There is another way to despawn the electro koopas shell, you have to go to pinna park (near where the pianta tree thing is with the "snot fruit" lol) and bait him near enough to where he does his attack near the water, his shell gets stuck near the edge and it dissapears rendering him naked... Also if you spray water at him while he's naked it shows him with his shell only for a few seconds, if you wait long enough their shells eventually grow back I found this out while I was dicking around (if anyone else found this as well then I'm not the only one).

I believe theres a reason as to why that seceret stage has a 100 coin location, the developers were simply being careful, you see, in the japanese version, there are no 100 coin locations in the seceret stages, and if 100 coins were to be collected, the game crashes, we know this as the secrret stage in isle delphino (the red coins seceret stage) entering it with 99 coins obveously allows you to get the 100 coins, however the 100th coin will crash the game as theres no sret location for the star, and since the us version has one, its safe to say the devs added a star location in all seceret stages as a saftey percaution
