If u want to meet more people from DG Khan go to Derewal nagar in Delhi. My Grandfather was very involved with this type of thing in our society he even with his friends built a mandir, Geeta Bhawan in Dhaka just near GTB Nagar in Delhi. He used to also tell us stories like these people tell u. But he died twelve years ago and he did a lot for people who came from DG Khan. He used to teach English. He was well versed in many languages and he used to write Urdu also.

A little correction; Mass-migration took place between both sides of Punjab and haryana. The Indian migrants who migrated from Haryana and Indian Punjab, are no more migrants. The minority that came from delhi, hyderabad, UP, bihar couldn't mix with the culture here, and hence they prefer to call themselves mahajir. Nonetheless, this episode is a special one. The writer is an inspiring orator. You're doing an excellent job, keep going:)

This is most amazing and powerful youtube video I ever watched and had lot of tears in my eyes. Sri Amrit Lal Madam is a great human being .It is fascinating to observe that even at this time in his life ,he is carrying so much love in his heart regarding his old land and love of the people who live there. Also host Vikas did a fantastic job. At no point during interview, he got disconnected with his guest and infact facilitated story of his guest Mr. Madan. By the way I wonder how Mr. Sharma being quite younger from ( with an accent of northern belt of south punjab as seraiki in Taunsa sharif is exactly how Mr. Madan was speaking) speaks it fluently. It might be that his parents speaks it at home and they taught him about it. Lastly I am from Taunsa sharif and based on story of Mr. Madan, my house might be old house of Mr. Madan. My house is almost adjacent to KIRADAYN DAA KHUOO which was right next to DHARAMSAAL ( my parents told me that it was a hindu temple). I agree totally with Mr. Madan from my heart that breakup of india was and is biggest tragedy of our life time and sadly after 70 years we are still going through trauma . I wish and hope one day again we are again reunited india. Love from Pakistan...
